Tiffani
More of a sequence than scene but still a pivotal moment in the movie. Poetic justice doesn't get much better than the pillowcase soda ass whooping scene in this one lol Another great Sean Penn flick. "Tommy, if you was to go in front of that grand jury, what would you say?" So many memorable scenes in this movie...and based on a true story, damn..smh. This scene... At the risk of sounding like a massive sexist for a girl you like some pretty guy type movies . Gangster flicks and all that, not complaining, wish there was more like ya!

I do enjoy testosterone immortalized through film for sure but I go through phases where I watch certain type of movies, then I'll get in the mood for other genres. I do like softer stuff too. For instance I just watched The Intern with DeNiro and Anna Hathaway and I really enjoyed it.

Im like that too, i go through kind of intensive bouts of movies of a particular genre or starring a particular actor made by a certain director or whatever.

action
i think this is the best movie scene ever. it has been such an incredible inspiration in my life, you have no idea. it has been single handedly responsible for finishing my education. AxlsFavoriteRose
ok i'm into blood and gore and all that good stuff but really this scene has to be considered one of the all time best non-gory scenes from basically a "chick flick"

It pretty much catches 20th Century pop culture of that era (and makes some pretty astute observations about the future we're living right now too) that are spot on...aside from being an amazing movie thats REALLY well made, some super new film techniques, it also foreshadowed the whole using animation thing, just tons of stuff. And it was banned over here too, it's just pure class though. And its all Oliver Stones work too, Tarantinos movie was meant to be focused on Wayne Gayle, the story of a guerilla journalist crew. And it was banned over here too, it's just pure class though. And its all Oliver Stones work too, Tarantinos movie was meant to be focused on Wayne Gayle, the story of a guerilla journalist crew. It really was different for the times. The thing with the animation, switching from color to black and white, warping someones face, they dont take away from what's happening in the film. It just keeps on rolling along. Like in Kill Bill, you can almost hear Tarantino yelling, ok people time for the big Japanimation scene! But for all the wild shit going on in NBK, nothing really feels out of place. Which is a big credit to Oliver Stone for pulling it off so smoothly. And yeah, he nails some observations about society that really came to be.

DieselDaisy
Natural Born Killers is a film I loath. I remember my mate bringing a VHS copy back from his holiday in Orlando, as we had pretty big censorship in those days in Britain and this film was considered a 'video nasty' alongside your older Exorcists and Texas Chainsaw Massacres and such like. You usually had two methods of obtaining these films, either the 'dodgy geezer' route, or the 'mate on holiday in Florida' route. Anyhow, upon seeing it, I thought ''what a piece of shit''. Definitely a case of the 'chase' being 'better than the catch' in that instance. (Weirdly Channel 5, then a new channel which seemed to devote most of its nascent period to screening Shannon Tweed soft pornography, somehow managed to screen it soon after, so a lot of people taped it at that time and had their own special 'Channel 5' version with added snow effects). I do not really like Oliver Stone's films. PS My contribution, Edited November 22, 2016 by DieselDaisy
