Well, you got to consider the shows in the less relatively popular areas (Nashville, Kansas City, Cincinnati, etc.) and I highly doubt those sold above 40k unless I am mistaken.

Nashville was sold out... Cinncy was said to have had 40k... not sure about KC...

so it seems 1mil divide by 25 equals 40k? how come? I would say Chi, Philly, Arlington, NYC...had like 60k...

I don't think that Soldier Field or Lincoln Financial Field (Chicago and Philly) have enough capacity to fit 60k in for a concert.  They both seat under 70k for football.  Of the places they've played on this tour, I think only Metlife Stadium (NY) and AT&T Stadium (Arlington) are big enough to get to 60k with an end stage setup.

For the first L.A. show there is an insane amount of availability on Ticketmaster now, even when you exclude resale. Entire sections with no seat sold.

So much for "sold out"..

Phoenix is similar. Apart from the Pits, you can get tickets almost anywhere you want. I could see them doing a fire sale for this show.

Pittsburgh was relatively empty.

Yeah, we made up for the Pittsburgh-area no-show MFers the next show in Philly!  Philly was freakin packed, easily AT LEAST 40,000

Yeah but despite the poor attendance, Axl still said it was the loudest he ever heard on kohd. Both shows were great.

I did read somewhere that concerts at Heinz field have trouble selling in general, plus it didn't help that it was on a Tuesday.
