LOL same, I used to draw a lot when I was younger, but I haven't really drawn anything in years.

I even started drawing a Slaxl picture once during some boring class in school and afterwards I actually went and colored it in photoshop.

Think that might even have been the last time I did something like that

Didn't know you had done another one! I only saw one. PM me your Insta account too please? I'm curious as well

.

Post Your old drawing here N' I will give You My IG ;)

Random picture of Izzy I came across that I've never seen before. It's from 2015 apparently, taken at a Rolling Stones concert.

That hat though... Izzy's got some hats that are worse than Axl's even...

I didn't know he was friend with Bernard!

And as @Jane M. said the hat is a Rolling Stones' piece of merchandise

@Andy14 "Don't cry for me, killuridols"  I see what you did there lol.

@Frey You should get yourself a top hat at least. Can even be worn to GnR concerts!

Omg, that thing is OOOOOLD, like I said!

I can see if I can find it (I should still have it lying around somewhere in some folder), but I'm gonna feel awkward posting that

(Although it's nothing worse than what @dgnr just posted. No porn or anything )

I know that is the Rolling Stones logo, I'm not stupid, but that doesn't make that hat look any better  I just think it's a really ugly hat and would wear Axl's before I'd wear that one lol.

I don't know who Bernard is though?

Bernand Fowler, he's famous mainly for doing backing vocals for the Rolling Stones both on tour and on the albums (both Stones' album and solos prejects of the Stones members) since the mid-80s but he collaborated with a lot of other artists over the years, his first Stones tour was actually the Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle Tour so i guess Izzy and him become friendly in that occasion, i didn't know they are friends/friendly

Ah okay, thanks,  I'm only a casual Stones fan, so I had no idea. Never seen Izzy with that guy before either.

Do you ladies think Axl is bald, and that the hair on his head is a wig, weave or transplant? Why or why not?

It's either his real hair or his real hair with some transplants added in along the way.

It's definitely not a wig, because his hair is clearly growing. If you look at pictures from the Troubadour performance, his hair is much shorter there than it is now. Since then, Axl's hair has grown the amount of length you'd expect it to grow in that timeframe.

Also a wig would probably look better :P j/k. But seriously, Axl's hair looks and behaves like the actual hair of someone his age who doesn't really put too much effort into it. It isn't as red anymore as it used to be, which is just a side effect of aging (or maybe he dyes it, not sure), it's thinner, dry, and does whatever it wants (making curls and waves) because it's shorter than it used to be and Axl probably is too lazy to straighten or blow dry it these days (or maybe it's wavy-er due to hormonal changes, also possible).

Slash also had something done to his hair (implants probably). I remember there was a time when he was really losing his hair and now it's back to looking alright again.

I don't think he dyes his hair. His hair color is the natural color for a redhead at his age.

Yes, it's really hard to say where he's at right now because he hardly ever talks to the press and much less about those topics. I guess he never talked about none of them since the 90's.

Still, he doesn't look to me like an activist for any world concern or public matters. Only animals, maybe.

Seems pretty neutral about most politics or civil rights.

(I realize that we're off topic and this discussion will be erased)

Axl never talked about these topics, except for the occasion when he wanted to defend himself for OIAM. Politics has never been his strong point (nor the band's in general). I think he has said something about violation of human rights in other countries (e.g. about executions in Indonesia iirc), but nothing about his own country, again with the exception of his own involvement with the law. I don't recall him (or any of them, maybe I'm mistaken about Duff) saying anything about the death penalty for example or the recent police shootings.

Yeah. All of them stay pretty much away from those things and mostly remain neutral.

Not sure why he was interested in that woman from Indonesia... and now I also remember the essay he wrote about China in the booklet for 'Chinese Democracy' but they all seem to me like sporadic things and that lack of consistency is what doesn't make him, in my opinion, an activist or a true fighter/advocate for politcal, civil or human rights.

He is definitely not, none of them is. But, to be honest, I prefer this to being hypocrite and luxury activist like Bono.

I honestly know nothing about Bono because I never liked U2. I do know, but only because I live here, that he acknowledged the Madres de Plaza de Mayo and invited them to one of U2's shows in Argentina.

What Axl posted remembering M.L.K. speech also sounded fake, lol, I don't know....

It really didn't give me a vibe that he truly cares about that topic so I'd prefer that he doesn't say anything if he's not really into it.

SJW = social justice wanker. People on Tumblr and a few other places who go over the top with their crusades concerning minorities, oppressed groups in society, etc.

Triggered as in people who have PTSD getting triggered by certain things that cause them to have unpleasant flashbacks/reactions to a traumatic event. Kinda like what people here have speculated happened to Axl during the car incident.

But some people abuse that word so much that it has lost all meaning, since they claim to get "triggered" by everything they find offensive basically. You should ask @tiutso about this. She seems to be a Tumblr kid who knows more about this than me. I mostly only know about it because the rest of the internet makes fun of it. Like that guy did. He was trolling that this thread is triggering to him because it's so sexist and discriminating  Never mind the fact that multiple guys post in this thread and no one's been banned yet.

I agree. I hate the way "trigger" has lost all significance, when in fact it's something deadly serious for those with PTSD and can lead to some very upsetting responses. A friend's father was a Vietnam vet. Once you've seen a grown man shaking, crying and having a panic attack because the loud sounds of fireworks triggered him into reliving his tour of duty in Vietnam...yeah, you don't make fun of it anymore.
