You have Duff on the (as we look at it) left, Axl middle and Slash right. Those three will be well aware the thousands in the stadium are there to see those three. i should imagine if one isn't in their "zone" it's going to be pretty boring for the fans watching, they need to be aware of where they are at all times, I think. If Slash goes to Duffs side then someone needs to go to slashs side and if Axl goes to a side one of em needs to go in the middle. I think they think about that a lot. All other stadium bands I've seen have a lot of stage props and such to help them with that, but apart from when they had the blow up Appetite monster, Guns have never been that type of band. I especially don't like that whole sense of "I love you so much, and I only want what's best for you" that the letter emits. It reeks of emotional manipulation and is very similar to TB in that regard. They constantly decide "what's best" for Axl as well. Like not getting him professional help or not letting him see messages from his friends. Urgh. I still hope Duff and Slash at least are wary of TB and keep a close eye on them. @dgnr Has any man ever been this happy just because he's sitting next to Slash? I'm convinced TB are one of the major (or even THE major factor) to blame for this ridiculous feud going on for so long in the first place. Remember, Beta even refused to be in one room with Slash during some party at Marc Canter's and they refused to get Axl help because "it was all just Slash's fault anyway". If they truly cared about Axl, they would have helped him to deal with his pain and various issues in healing, constructive ways, instead of encouraging his fears and delusions. And yes, they're predators, even Duff said the people Axl was/is surrounded by are predatory. I miss Izzy too, grumpy reclusive weirdo that he is. He's been my avatar forever, but I want to see him together with the other guys again. I was lucky enough to see Izzy with Axl in 2006 and it was awesome. Would be even better with the others too.
