cineater
Mr. Kitty's head is so big, when he lifts his face out of the food bowl, the whole bowl comes up. I'll have to get him a bigger dish. He's smart. He knocked it over and spilled the food out so he didn't have to deal with that. I wondered why the bowl kept getting knocked over, falsely accused the squirrels.
arethamorce
Have you ever try in your loved pets the CBD oil? CBD Oil is from the flower of Cannabis. Cannabis now is known as an alternative medicine such as can relief pain not for us humans but also in our pets! CBD oil for our pets can treat health issues such as digestive or upset tummy, inflammation, joint pain or even allergies. I tried this in my dog, I gave it when I know he faced a stressful situation such as we're going to our vet. I gave it 30-60 minutes prior. by doing some researching, I came across this article https://www.gyo.green/archive-seeds-do-si-dos-arc-dos-r.html, through this, I have a lot of information and testimonials from cannabis user. I was close to trying that with Barley when he was freaked out by the earthquake up here. We have a store up here that sells CBD especially made for pets. I just ordered a homeopathic remedy for his anxiety that I put in his water which seems to help too. It is nice having all these different options for our pets!
cineater
Simone has to come off the kitten food. She's up to 11 pounds. She doesn't think I'm very good with the brush. I finally just dropped it on the floor, stepped on it and let her brush her own face. Should have thought of that years ago.

cineater
Knock on my friend's glass door. The dog comes running and jumps on it. It's not latched and smacks me right in the forehead. Even the dog was surprised.
cineater
Mr Kitty is limping and has a bloody gash in his leg. His paw looks swollen. He comes up after I leave him food and enjoys napping on the patio but still won't let me near him. Might call the pound on him Monday if he's looking worse. I'm pretty sure they will fix him up and return him if I'm agreeable. Anything I can put in his food that might act as an antibiotic? marlingrl03
I am scared what my electricity bill is going to be after having to run fans in my house 24/7 for now the second week in a row because of this stupid fuckin heat wave. I am sure my condo is 85* for us Alaskans don't have AC. MY poor cats don't even play cause they are lethargic as hell. I have lots of water bowls, fans, brush them with a cool wet brush. Any other tips?
janrichmond
@marlingrl03 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B072FT7XRQ/ref=dp_cerb_1 Cooling mats are really good, put some catnip on it and they really do work 😸
cineater
That's what they do in the heat, just lay there and sleep. It's better to keep the house closed up with the cool night air for a while before starting up those fans and keep out the sunlight. If you have a storage area in a basement it's probably cooler down there where they could stay during the day. You could try filling up the tub/sink with cold water, drain it and they may lay in it. When is the heat wave suppose to break? Mr Kitty is better, not fine but only a little limp.

The thing though is that we dont cool down till like midnight since we have 20 hours of sunlight. We actually climb in temperatures till 7 at night. Its CRAZY. I did see those cooling mats on Amazon. Will for sure order those!!!! Its supposed to cool down a bit on Wed/Th.

cineater
Lily! She's been hiding under the bed a lot since Simone showed up. Tonight she decided to play with my foot while I was sleeping and since that wasn't getting enough action she thought walking up and down on the rest of my body would get me up. Out the door for you kitty, go kill something. And of course she won't come back in. She's running across the roof.
SoulMonster
Up north. The biting bugs are hard on the dog, too. But apart from some bites he is enjoying summer life.

EvanG
I just realized it would have been hilarious if someone had walked in right when you were taking a picture from that angle. I don't know if doggie porn is popular up there in the north, but here it's kinda frowned upon.
