See when Hank 3 started making music he was real hung up on not being a copycat of his dad and granddad. So he was all about the punk and metal. He pretty much just screamed. When he started doing country, he looked to Wayne the Train. Wayne helped him and was no doubt a big influence. If anything I would say Wayne tries to sing like Hank Sr where Hank 3 it's more his natural sound. But yeah certain songs they sound a lot alike, I can tell a difference though. No skewering here...educating I'll look for more but this is the first one that comes to mind. And I don't mean deep like Cash, just not as high pitched or singing through his nose.
