Similar personality too. Whenever I see that interview where Izzy talked about learning to play coma, this is all I think of:

---

So do you guys think anything surprising will happen at Rock in Rio?

Where the fuck is the interview with Izzy talking about learning Coma and how dare you not post it here! ;) I've never seen/read it.

Pretty please!

I'll try to find it but he basically said the song was too long and he didn't want to learn it.

Honestly, with the wise words of Izzy Stradlin?

No.

Apart from the frustration he felt at the trials and tribulations that rocked GN'R during the long period of recording the *Illusion* albums, Izzy, who is far from a slouch in the axe department, also had to battle the complexities of a song like "Coma."

"That was a long song, wasn't it?" he said. "I never did learn that song. What I did is, I had a chord chart onstage for the tour, because there were like 30 changes, and they didn't flow naturally for me. I think that was Slash's song more than anything, because he was more into that heavier,

Metallica sort of thing. I think we only played it three times live."

Why no?

Sorry, did that come off as rude? I didn't mean to...!

I somehow can't see anything exciting happening with GnR. I'm sure The Who or Aerosmith would be possible but I can't see it coming. Gut feeling. Except for Angus in Nijmwegen there haven't been any guest spots so far, have there? That's why I think no. They will just pull their usual show and that's it. :shrugs:

Nah, not rude :P

I don't think anything out of the ordinary will happen, if it was to I just think it'd be a guest spot for a song or two. Nothing that we would really want.

Angus has done a few spots and Angry Anderson did one too.

I just think they might've asked The Who to join in on The Seeker. (If they're still up at that time

'- Hm...that's not really fair but, ok, it's fine!'
'- Oh, and we're gonna play Coma at every single show.'
'- Yeah? Well, FUCK YOU! Moving right along'

:P

:rofl-lol: Poor Izzy, they clearly didn't want him there :P
