I found other comments that indicate this and also that Charlie did ask friends for help. Maybe they couldn’t get it any more public than it got? I know I've talked about it before in the Women's thread, but when I was going though all of my health issues the Ju Ju Hounds album is usually what got me through the bad days. Archtop Posted March 15, 2018 Share Posted March 15, 2018 Just managed to sit down for five minutes and catch up. Sad news, poor Chalo sounds like he was going through hard times. It was my understanding from something I read years ago when I use to stalk people on MySpace 😏 that Chalo lived in Mexico close to his mum. Not sure what happened since, he popped up occasionally on Facebook seems to still be friendly with some of the band. I see a lot of musicians struggle with health care, I guess unless you make a steady income, insurance is not something you worry about when your young and hard to get when your older and need it. Not sure how it works in Mexico. So gutted would have loved a JuJu hounds reunion. I offered to help him and to start a GoFund ... cause he was really sick. His Sister said it was related to heart issues. The thing is that he was asking for help and only a few cared, and when I said to him: Chalo please let me help you, I wanna start a go fund if you want. He called me but I couldn't answer the call cause my internet connection was terrible, and when I explained that to him, he didn't answer to me anymore... I can imagine how alone he was feeling... I hope that Iz didn't get mad about my tweets replying a girl who said that he was acting cold ... I was pissed cause she was judging without knowing and I guess it was worse cause he deleted those tweets, but I'm really sad about how the whole situation was... I'm writing this here cause I think the best is to people know the truth of what happened, and I'm sorry if Izzy felt bad about it, I just though it was unfair, because chalo and him had good memories of each other and now a bunch of people is saying shit about Izzy and the truth is that he had a lot of closer friends reading about his situation on FB everyday and they didn't do a thing... and according to Chalo, he and Izzy didn't speak in years, he even said that on a lot of interviews.
