Exactly, the same scenario for me for both London shows.. Fuck I'll be pissed if I can't be on Slash's side for at least 1 night

But there is no mention of A or B for London. I only got my 2nd night london tickets a few weeks back and as far as I can remember its just GC. I just checked my order history for both nights on TM. Slane actually states GOLDA where London just states GOLD. Im sure it will be one open pit

Here's hoping then as it's the same venue as Axl/DC and that was the case for their pit

At first I was annoyed at not getting Gold Circle tickets as my fellow band mates had but they were at the back and side of Gold Circle and we were at the font and side of GA. Literally a barrier and price difference seperating us only, lol

So what if the casual fans find Coma and CD-songs boring? The majority of the setlist is tailored for their enjoyment, I'm sure they can handle 3-4 songs that make the show worthwhile for those fans who actually have more than a passing interest in the band.

Pretty much this, they can't please everybody, though where I was standing, everyone FUCKING loved the Chinese Democracy songs, hell I even saw a few cigarette lighters in the air for This I Love.

Is this for real?   People spent a lot of money to buy a ticket just to leave in the middle of the show?

This does happen. Saw Neil Young last year in Belfast. Was taking to a man a few weeks after the show who also went. He complained that Neil didnt play this song or that song when infact he did. Turned out he left 90min into a 3hr+ show but still felt the need to complain.

People were streaming out past us  at  about 2/3 of  set.  Typical irish thing  to get  out and  beat  the  traffic ?i didn't  care  about  being  stuck in the  car park for  2 hours afterwards once  I got to headbang along to  paradise city ?

A Not In This Lifetime chance to see the band & people leave 2/3s through unbelievable. Might as well have went to the pub & played the Greatest Hits on the jukebox.

Why does franks snare sound so horrible in this vid?

I am really not a fan of the band or the song so It all sounds bad to me. I just thought that the video quality was the best that I have seen.

It is.  But franks snare drum sounds different (very bad) in this particular video.

He's tuned it to a 70s fat sound. I don't like it, and for me it stood out like a swore thumb. Only drum complaint of the night. Just wish he'd tune it a little tighter because it was very boomy, rather than the snap you'd usually want from a snare.

I haven't listened to any GN'R in a year but I have to say that Slash seems to have improved on the Buckethead and Bumblefoot leads since early 2016

TWAT solo on point :headbang:

And his guitar tone has a bit more bite in it too.
