Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie

CGI needs to learn how to fuck off. These animatronics are boss.

My brother loved the turtles when he was young. We all saw these movies. They were so cool back then. I agree with you on the CGI. This movie was awesome without all that crap.

Easy now, I've always thought Bette Midler is strangely sexy.😄 Plus, she's one of my favorite singers.

She looks like a fuckin’ Shetland pony and you and McLeod are foul deviant perverts, thats a sign of fuckin’ jaded decadence that is, shagging a fuckin’ horse like that because idle peversity leaves you curious about mingers

On topic:

Rocky 2, fuck knows when it was made, 78?  I dunno, look it up.

No. Just....No. One of my dirt bag friends wanted me to watch it for a reaction video. Can't go into detail, obviously. It's one of those weird Japanese fetish films in the vein of "2 Girls, 1 Cup" but just so much worse.

I googled it   Is it actually a narrative film, or is it just poo porn?

It was one of those super artsy anthology series flicks  The Japanese have their own way of transgressive film making. They cover up the naughty bits for censorship but have no problem showing a girl being a fudge fountain:lol:

oh man, it's been more than a decade that I willingly went to see a movie in cinema. I think the last one was terminator 3, and that one was so bad that I said "never gonna see a movie again".

the movie scene has become so desperately commercial and mind numbingly political, draining all the fun out of the concept, that I just for the life of me can not be bothered anymore.

once in a while I glance on the state of modern day movies, and just when I thought I couldn't be more appalled, they release something like an all-female ghostbusters. (I'm not a sexist by the way, I have a female friend)

There's plenty of great movies out there, you just got to give em a chance.  In the last year I've watched stuff like Sorry We Missed You directed by Ken Loach, hardly commercial though one could argue extremely political, Midsommar, again, pretty left of centre, there's always stuff out there man, you've just got to be into the movies enough.  I love the cinema, I go every week, or I did, until all this corona bollocks.

Also Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Ford vs Ferrari, 1917, Doctor Sleep.  The movies to me is like...I dunno, like football, sometimes a game is shite, don't mean to say you stop watching.

I'm sure there are, but I just can't muster up the effort mate. it is all so thoroughly tiring to even bother.

I have a closet full of great movies. I'm pretty set for the rest of my life. Those movies just don't get old, even after countless viewings.

You don't gotta convince me, I'm obssessive about older movies, I watch a shitload of em...but I'm not a great one for living entirely in the past either.  My favourite genres tend to be film noir and western lately, though I'm certainly not exclusive about it.  See I watch films as pure escapism and I find one escapes better into a world that you're completely unrelated to and film noir and westerns offer that.  Plus I love the look of them, particularly film noir.  40s and 50s I think I tend to watch movies from the most, my favourite actors are basically a whoose who of the old days, Cagney, Henry Fonda, Robert Mitchum, James Stewart, Anthony Quinn, Lee Marvin...though I guess I could go through every era and give you a personal top ten.

I just think if you want good cinema you gotta support good cinema, just like people did in the old days, the hollywood golden age existed precisely because the people of that times loved the movies and went to see em a shitload.

it begins with the camerawork and pace. today's movies, with their shaky camera and explosive pace, just manage to make me rage quit. what a load of nonsense. I'm supporting movies, precisely by not watching them. the movie business couldn't die soon enough. they should just call it quits. it's over.

Isn't this the movie Axl  had to finish before he went onstage?😄

Then stopped and watched a fireworks display on the way - then at the show when people in the front row looked bored he had the audacity to tell them they should have went to see the fireworks instead

Axl was a cunt of the highest order.

jurassic park

jaws

back to the future

raiders of the lost ark

the goonies

ET

Just reading those titles fills my heart with excitement. None of that social awareness political correct nonsense of today. Did any of those movies carry a social agenda / catered to the interest of a minority interest group? No. Were they worse movies for that? Hell no, it's what made them great in the first place! Fuck that shit. Just relax, enjoy innocent escapism without being brainwashed by narrow minded politics.

The only thing that the social awareness movement has achieved, is even more quarreling and hate between people. Just look around. Hate has increased, not decreased. Thanks to the over mediatising of these issues, I'm sick and tired of the moaning and complaining of SJW's.
