I've never heard that before. That's what I'm wondering as well in regards to Meegan. Perhaps some peace and quiet before missing the wild and crazy? She's totally extroverted and loves the attention which is something Slash tries to avoid as much as he can (unless he's on stage, then he's everywhere like the god he is ), she didn't stop partying hard and drinking after Slash did which must have been tough for him, and she was pretty controlling (which is probably the last thing Slash would want from a person after having to deal with Axl ). I think it was hard for him to connect with Perla after they lost that "crazy couple" bond they used to have and that's why they almost broke up a few years earlier too (2010 if my memory serves). On the other hand, things seem to be pretty chill and easy with Meegan. Apparently, she left him back in the day to escape all the craziness surrounding Slash, which is a concern she no longer has (I assume). And it wouldn't be strange that he found her boring back in the day (he might have been bitter about her leaving him too, though ) because he was immersed in the crazy life of excesses. She wasn't the right person for him at that point even if there was something about her he really liked. Now Slash is a different person and you could even say he's become boring himself (remember that time Myles was asked about a cool story with Slash and all he could think about was Slash turning him into great books?). He's become an avid reader, obsessed with horror stuff, an activist for animal rights, a responsible father/step-father (I guess). IIRC, on Slash's bio he says he threw her out of his house after a Christmas party she spent a lot of money in decorating and he found it stupid. I think you're probably spot on with your assessment of their personalities. I'm more of a Slash type myself, relatively introverted and reserved, and the idea of dating a chick like Perla sounds absoultely exhausting to me. And frankly, also a bit terrifying.
