Man died like a god damn Tory and should be respected so. Major had some prized uber Tory specimens in his cabinets. That is where my stereotype of Torydom comes from really. Mellor. He really got the shortest straw when god dished out looks, yet Uber Tory. DieselDaisy
I love the way England at least always reverts to binary Labour-Conservative type. Now that Corbyn has decided to pretend to be a staunch remainer, and Boris is hard-Brexiteering, everyone has forgotten about the Liberal Democrats and Brexit Party - more so the latter but to a certain extent the former. England is enslaved to these two moribund parties, Tory and Labour. There was never really a revolution on the cards, The Brexit Party founding a new form of ''populist'' politics, Farage in No 10. The Liberal Democrats could never succeed as the de facto ''party of remain'' unless as part of a Corbyn coalition. All this was in reality utter bolllocks. England always reverts back to Labour and Tory in the end.

If not the Tories you'll get Corbyn and the United Republic of Beardo 1970s Socialist Britain. Unions. Internationale as anthem. Northern Ireland will of course be handed over to Gerry Adams. Alliances made with Cuba, Hamas and Hezbollah.

I honestly couldn’t choose between no deal kamikaze Brexit and Jeremy Corbyn. I’m just praying for a Ken Clarke temporary government.

DieselDaisy
Labour are going to get utterly trounced at the next election. Just been reading somebody saying they were in a northern working man's pub and Boris got cheered whilst Corbyn got booed haha. I think Corbyn is the worst opposition leader ever. To be honest I don't think he'd be a very good commie. He has completely abandoned the hard-left Brexiteering stance, lost the working classes in the north and midlands. Lenin would probably say to Corbyn, ''you're a bunch of bollocks''. He'd probably fail at the one thing he is supposed to be good at which is being a commie haha. He is that bad. PS Comic gold this, https://twitter.com/terrychristian/status/1167863855667527681 Remember that dick from The Word who disappeared without trace? Well he is a now a hardcore remaniac and incredibly active on twitter, but every time he speaks people just pelt him with this picture of him cosying-up with Jimmy Saville. Since he's not even trying for a deal. Edited September 3, 2019 by AtariLegend
DieselDaisy
Bill (European Union Withdrawal No 6) introduced by Hilary Benn and backed by the ''Rebel Alliance'', forcing Boris to ask for Brexit to be delayed until 31st January, unless MPs have approved a new withdrawal agreement, or voted in favour of a no-deal exit, by 19th October. Obviously unacceptable terms for Boris so the belief is that if it passes, there will be a general election on the 14th October.

It would obviously require the unanimity of the 27. Macron wouldn't but Merkel would in an instant and she is the powerbroker.
