It looks they are going to end up backing a 2nd referendum by default after a motion passed at the conference.

It's about time.

*In before someone in the shadow cabinet immediately contradicts it*

They just did  :headbang:

It's all just a fuck you to the establishment in the end don't matter who you vote for there all crooks

But they aren't all crooks. Some are crooks. Most are like you and me and honestly wants to help people. Your vote can prevent crooks and morons in office. But apathy and couldn't care less attitude will just mean that the crooks have a chance to win.

Shouldn't she be the one who you support (among the Tories that is), with her wet compromise solution?

The problem is people in her own party don't like her plan. People in all opposition parties don't like her plan. And people in the EU don't like her plan.  If she wants soft Brexit then she has to negotiate with Labour and/or Liberal Democrats. Another option is a second referendum.

My point is pro-Euro types may as well rally round Theresa May's plan as the alternative would be a Boris or Mogg negotiated settlement!

Labour says they won't support her current plan. Nor they will support any Boris negotiated settlement. I don't know what DUP position is. Maybe not even DUP can save her plan. If not enough Tories are on her side.

This country is bonkers. Truly stark raving mad.

Civil partnerships were brought in for gay people as something analogous to marriage. The gays complained and wanted marriage. Gay marriages became legal earlier this year. Straight couples meanwhile complain, repudiating marriage for reasons not entirely clear and desiring (drum roll) a civil partnership!

What the gays spurned, the straights desired haha.

Clearly there's only 2 solutions to Brexit that'll please most people;

Either a;

Northern Ireland, Scotland stay in the EU, while England and Wales fuck off.

or b;

Northern Ireland and Scotland leave the UK, but England gets to keep the DUP.

In both cases Scotland and Northern Ireland are leaving the UK. Because your "a" option is impossible. They can't have it both ways. Nor they get to decide by themselves to stay in the EU. The UK becomes another former Yugoslav. Scotland and Northern Ireland need to apply for EU membership as independent countries.

What’s the DUP?

You love him for what exactly? He created an unecessary mess. Like the rat he is. He jumped  the boat as soon as the referendum result showed he accomplished what he wanted. He claims he hates the EU yet he is an EU MEP. Theresa May shouldn't be in charge of the Brexshit plan. That was Farage's job to come up with a plan. On top of that all the bullshit about taking back control. And the 300 million for healthcare. Since he left his party. The party has been dying. How many MP UKIP has? Zero. He is nothing more than a wanker. A horrible person who took advantage of people facing a though situation. He didn't deliver any solution for the problems those people are still facing. They delivered for him what he wanted. How he showed gratitud to UKIP members and other Brexit supporters? He left them to just hung out to dry

He is rather the antithesis of the hatchet-faced politically correct coffee drinking Guardian classes; loves a British pint - he's always in the boozer; has an identifiable ''roguish'' sense of humour. Heck, I like Farage far more than his own crappy party and even my anti-EU views fall completely short of his but the man is clearly a legend.
