Well, I had forgotten that Michael had taken Avery away from Sonny, but today he gave her back. Sabrina was on too. poor thing. I hated when GH killed her off.

Ava is pretending to be her cousin Denise. I forgot about that story too.

Holly was on today. I think Robert is right about Holly being alive. I do hope he finds Luke and the go off to find her. Who knows if/when that will happen.

Have you heard anything more about the B&B taping? Is it still a go?

I read filming for the Y&R has been pushed back again. With the rise of the virus better safe than sorry.

GH today was about Morgan and his bi polar. Such a terrific episode. Makes me miss this soap all the more.

So I did read one article where it said one episode has been filmed and edited and ready to go but obviously they need to film more to at least have one weeks worth of new episodes to show. They are predicting these episodes will show in August or September. Of course this was the only article I could find. So I hope its true!!! 

I didn't work today so got to see GH live! Yeah it was sad to see Morgan in such a sad state. Loved seeing Nathan as always. Miss him.

Hope you had a safe and happy 4th. I got some groceries and cat food early in the morning so less people. Was happy to see everyone following the mask mandate....which needs to be statewide. Glad your governor wised up to that! Hes finally realizing the scary predicament that TX is in.

Yeah, I wish somehow Morgan would come back. His nighttime show was cancelled, but who knows? It just seems so weird not seeing new episodes except for Days of our lives.

Yeah, I saw the mayor in Miami talking about closing the beaches, but the west coast beaches in Florida are still open. Very weird how no one seems to be on the same page?

I'm not doing anything but staying in today and tonight. Tons of movies to watch. I'm sure I will hear tons of fireworks. Heard tons last night too. More and more people bought fireworks to do themselves since the big events were cancelled. I don't think I would spend my money on stuff that blows up and that's it! lol

Yeah, going to stores during the week or early int he mornings is the way to go right now. I did see all of Walmart shoppers and workers wearing masks. At least that's something.

Fl and Ca governors should just bite the bullet and close it all because all those people are now packing the few beaches that are open. Un hello???!! Yeah its not a popular thing to do but like TX, they are a hotspot so they need to do what needs to be done in the interest of public health. 

I hated hearing the neighbors shoot off fireworks..its illegal in the city but they dont care. It's so fuckin loud and my poor cat Barley was so freaked out that he slept under the bed all night. So sad!

Oh, poor baby. I hate it when animals especially cats and dogs are afraid of noise. My cats slept through the whole thing, but the fireworks were not very close to me.

Yeah, states should close up again.

I saw Gov Abbott yesterday on the news and every question the news reporter asked, he never answered directly. I'm so worried about schools opening in August with this surge. What are they thinking? I mean if teachers and students get ill how can they manage it? Gov Abbott never answered that questions either. He said Texas would handle it. What the hell does that mean? I don't want my child exposed to this damn virus. 

All they are caring about is the economy. More and more people are getting this virus every day. it seems unstoppable. No one has answers anymore.

I know it's summer, but people need to stop doing things that have 100's of people involved. I wish they could arrest all the dummies that go out and about with no masks and in pools.

I watched today's GH and it was when Michael confessed to killing Claudia Zaccahra. Dante thought it was the right thing to do. I remember poor Michael going to jail and getting sexually assaulted by someone Franco sent after him. Jason was too late to stop it. Anyway, I forgot how annoying Dante was as a cop. Lulu too.

Days of our Lives is heating up. So glad I have at least one new soap to watch.

Do you know anything more about the B&B filming? I don't think soaps can go back to filming just yet. It's not safe and would probably cost more money for taking so long to stay safe.

DENISE RICHARDS: Every week, we are tested. And when I showed up to the studio, I had my temperature taken. And we have to wear a mask throughout the studio, hair and makeup as much as possible. And it was challenging, because the times when our characters would get a little closer with each other, a mannequin would be there. And then the actor-- I stepped off and read the lines for the other actor talking to the mannequin, because with the eyeline and everything, it was in a close up. So it's taking a little bit longer. Is it working?

- Think so.

DENISE RICHARDS: So of course on soap operas, there's a lot of love scenes. So we were asked if our significant other would step in. I said, OK, they asked if you would be able to step in and be the stand in. Otherwise, I have to have my love scene with a mannequin, which is fine. But I'd much rather my husband. But I think it's fun for the whole set for everyone's to come together and be supportive and want to get the show made and done and have fun with it. It's all we can do. We have to adjust with the world we're living in right now and still being able to work and do our job. We've been off work over three months. And it's time for us to get back working. And I'm very lucky that I'm with a production company and television studio and network that's willing to do what they need to do to keep everyone as safe as possible to make a great show.

I do appreciate them doing all they can to get the shows back on the air. I wonder how the prime time tv shows will do and when they can start filming them?

Very hot here in Texas. Just went to a small supermarket and everyone had a mask and distancing. I guess this is the new normal for us for awhile.

Yeah, wish Texas would be cooler but then that's how it is, so I stay inside as much as possible. Not to mention all the stuff in the air that can cause sinus infections and right now I don't want to feel sick at all.

I thought after the last two days GH would continue with the Michael going to jail storyline, but no today was something else. That doctor trying to break up Patrick and Robin. She was a psycho. God I always hope none of my doctors are ever crazy like they seem to be on GH. lol

Anyway, today's episode had the actor Carey Payton from The Walking Dead. He plays the King on TWD. I didn't remember he was on GH. Anyway, he's in with that crazy doctor who wants to break up Robin and Patrick. lol He was on like 10 years ago. I don't remember all those storylines. Nathan was on and Luke was married to Tracy. I don't think Laura was on yet. Crazy.

I always have on my a/c and my ceiling fans all the time. I also have a fan on my nightstand for the night time. lol

I got an email from soap opera digest. The Y&R will begin filming next week.

Days of Our Lives resumes filming in September.

No word on GH yet. 

I wonder how the B&B is doing with filming? Anyway, I got an email from the school district for my child. It sounds like they will do everything to keep everyone safe, but with this virus, who knows?

I don't want my daughter to fail by not being in a classroom. I have until Monday to decide.

Yeah I read about Y&R....hope it's true! No word either from GH...maybe August? 

Our school district came out with a plan yesterday but it varies by city. I live in the biggest city so we are going to split the kids up at least for a month and then reassess. So like half the kids attend 2 days and the other kids the 3 days or something along those lines. Its confusing. Not sure how it will all work. And then one child in a row on the bus. I just have this bad feeling that many teachers and teachers will get this virus.

My brother said that San Antonio is super hot. I bet most of TX is! I went to San Antonio during July once and I about died. I told him never again lol! I want to be able to walk the riverwalk or go to the zoo but you cant do that when it's so hot..so now I like to go in November or March when it's like 70ish.

Yeah, all of Texas will be over 100 degrees for about 3 or 4 days. I stay indoors because it's like you can't breathe in this heat.

Yeah, well, I got the email from the GISD, which is our district and it says schools will have virtual get to know you from August 10 until August 27 when schools will be officially open.

The email said parents would have to decide by Monday, July 13 if you want your kid to attend school or continue virtual. It's supposed to be a new program where teachers and students will be able to see each other like they are in the same room. But the email didn't say anything about how many kids can attend each class or if they can turn kids away?

The cafeterias will have plexi  glass between the kids and the workers. I would think now all schools will have paper trays. Most schools had these hard plastic trays for kids to use, but with this virus, I think paper trays are the way to go.

I guess we'll find out more as the weeks go by. I did see the superintendent of Dallas schools, different district and he said they would also wear face masks and distance and have the halls going one way in and one way out. But he said he expected there to be virus cases. I commended him for being honest. He said teachers as well as parents are worried about the school year, but they will do their best to keep everyone safe. 

I find that hard to believe since the whole world especially Texas and other states now where this virus is spreading faster than ever. 

I'm wondering if/when a vaccine is available, will it be able to fully cure this virus since it seems to mutate every day.

Guess well we can do is where face masks and try to keep our distance and stay inside when possible.

It's so hot right now, going outside is not an option. lol

Not sure about GH. Wish they would say something. I miss it so much and these older shows are getting on my nerves. I wish they would pick a year an stick with it for now.

I have to remember where GH left off. lol I just think of a character and then it comes to me what they were doing last.

Yeah I have been thinking about my brother every day. I know hes being safe and not going out except for work and other things and wears his mask and all.  But still....hate that he is in a hotspot city. Ugh.

Yeah, we have cousins that live in West Florida, but as the numbers go up they all have to be safe. Two of them are nurses and one of them now is taking care of covid 19 patients. She has 3 kids and my mom's cousin takes care of the two girls while she's working. It is hard not to get scared these days.

Well, let's see if this happens with GH. It's going to be hard for all of them to begin filming. I just want everyone safe no matter how long it takes. With the numbers going higher in some states including CA how can they film safely?

I do hope your brother stays well. If he's following the rules he should be okay. It's just the ones that aren't following the rules that are at risk and we need to stay away from them.

It's very hot here today. All Texas is very hot this week. Staying inside is the best way to go.

Well, this week GH is repeating the last week before the break. I swear Nelle is such a bitch and they way things look, I do hope someone kills her soon.

Days of our lives had a wedding today and Sami, who's a real bitch, showed up. Can't wait! I love her character. Days is bringing alot of their old characters back on the show. Love it!

hot here again today. Over 100 degrees. There is a heat advisory. lol I love when they say that. It's every summer in Texas.

Wow good for William. Yeah, it is the truth yet some people refuse to wear masks saying it's their legal right. I saw a family of 6 yesterday on the Cuomo show on CNN. The mother, father and two older kids had it. The little ones have it now, but not too bad.

The mother has to see a lung specialist because she still can't breath well, but she tests negative for the corona virus now. It's the virus that keeps on giving.

Another man from Dallas went home after 100 days in the hospital. He had to go to rehab too. He was on a ventilator too and they thought he would die. He says this virus is no joke, so wear a mask.

Heather Thom from the B&B was on The Talk today and she said new shows will air next week. Wow! I think I will check it . Haven't heard anything about GH, but Days is filming in September.

Who knows how things will go since California numbers are still high.

Well, today was one of the last shows. I was on the phone with a friend while I had it on. Yeah, I remember those shows and Nelle gets on my nerves. I still say someone is going to kill her when the show gets back on the air. At least I hope so! lol

My tv grid shows that the Bold and the Beautiful new shows begin on Monday. I'm going to dvr it to see if I can see any difference to how they filmed it.

I guess if it works, maybe the other soaps will begin filming safely too.

I know they can do so many things on the computer now. Eventually they won't even need live actors. lol

I watched GH this week. It's about the Wylie trial. I am so hoping that Lesil can somehow testify against Nelle, but who knows? If she gets Wylie I'm going to scream. 

the whole Molly sleeping with Brando is not good to me. I don't seem them together at all. She and TJ are such a boring couple. Maybe if Molly does get with Brando we might see something, but not seeing it now. usually soap couples have that chemistry from the beginning so who knows?

I wonder if GH would consider breaking up Jason and Sam?  

I do hope GH does start filming soon. So many good storylines that need to be continued. Guess we will seen.

Ha! You are better than me, I am totally skipping this week. I mean really they should have showed the episodes from this year like a week before new episodes were going to be shown. I hope next week it is back to the older GH episodes! Fingers crossed.

But I do agree with you about TJ and Molly, they are sweet but too vanilla for a soap lol. And they just aren't on consistently enough to be invested in their relationship. Sam and Jason dare I say it are also very boring. Their chemistry is gone, you just can't force it and I think most people see it.

Enjoy your weekend. It is going to be a cool one this weekend so lots of movie time on the couch for me. Looking forward to it!

Well at least the GH episodes this week were all consistent.

I agree about Molly and TJ. We hardly saw them for years and then TJ gets kidnapped and Molly gets all worked up about it.  It seems like they came back on just to break them up. lol

Yeah, Sam and Jason have lost their spark. Maybe Sam should get involved with Brando. Now that would be something!

The little boy who plays Aiden, Liz's son, is on NOS4O2 now. He has a big role too. He plays the son of the lead actress. Anyway, he's showing his range on this show.

I did catch the B&B today. The beginning was a cool opening. I did notice no more than two or three actors in a room and they stayed far apart from each other. 

I never watch this soap, but they did air mostly flashbacks from the recent episodes I guess to remind fans what was left. I guess we'll see how it goes and if/when the 1 hour soaps begin to film how it will look?

GH is showing the last episodes of the final ones leading up to the Wylie Trial. At least it's continuous and not all over the place for now.
