dalsh327
I thought it was well-made and covered a lot of bases through their careers, the good and the bad. They take it right up to the "Straight Outta Compton" biopic. Surprised that Marilyn Manson wasn't a part of it but Dee Barnes and Diddy were interviewed. Dre talks about Detox but Iovine mentions nothing about Axl and Chinese Democracy was brought up (there's a blink and you miss it of Axl wearing the NWA ballcap), but it does show how they were preoccupied with making hits and collaborating on the label in the 2000s, GNR's remix album probably was Iovine's idea. RussTCB
A lot of people have told me to check this out. I really need to get around to it asap.
Len Cnut
I forwarded the U2 and Stevie Nicks bollocks.
soon
IMO these people put the final nails in the coffin of a once free and expressive music industry. Trent has said he's uneasy about his role in all this, yet there he is. Side note: Dre, Trent and Iovine all have close connections to CD. And Dre and Trent also have close parallels to CD type projects. Definitely a well made doc.

Iovine being a part of Rattle and Hum wasn't anything to brag about, except putting them together with BB King.
Tourettes2400
I watched this multiple times. I loved this series. It was cool how they told both Jimmy Iovine's and Dre's stories and brought them together. In real life there were a lot of people who got fucked along the way and after Deathrow blew up.
