Especially if your Scottish I mean England are shit but Scotland is a whole new level of boring football

As a rangers fan, (we were screwed over by the sfa, spfl and every other club in scottish football), i no longer give a shit about the Scottish national team and the majority of rangers fans think the same. I don't want them to lose but i will never cheer for them again.

I'm the reverse, internationals over anything else. The only team I have ever supported in football is England (and they're a bunch of wankers but I still get suckered in every two years). I don't really have a ''club'' you see - I couldn't give a monkeys about Newcastle v Sunderland regional rivalry. I also think all footballers are complete and utter bellends which makes it difficult to support anyone really.

I have often said if I was to support a club it would be non-league, teams of plumbers and posties. I just cannot relate to the (top flight) modern footballer.

how do you relate to boxers?  Or cricketers?  Or Formula One drivers?  I mean what sort of relations are a pre-requisite here?

I wouldn't know the first thing of F1.

At no point has a sportsmen's career and the term ''wankstain'' ever been so connected as in the modern footballer. I am not refuting that boxing has its fair share of absolute bellends (Mayweather). Cricket, a sport as gentlemanly as cricket, has its few even (Kevin Pietersen and David Warner). It is just that in no sport does there seem a prevalence of the matching been wankery and the profession!

Jose Obaynga (defender, Manchester United) with his Ferrari, null brain cells, spit-roasting (cough, raping) models, two tubs of hair gel on his head, rolling around on the ground like the denouement of Hamlet. Fuck off. Simply fuck off.

Maybe once they get that big contract.

But they also spend all week getting injections for dead legs.

I was thinking about the 500k a week. 60% of that must go to the government. So footballers basically pay for schools and nukes.

He's not paying 60 percent tax, however he's probably got his cash in Panama along with half the politicians in this country.

40% whats the top bracket. But I know the club often keep half the salary in a club bank. So when you hear numbers you have to halve it and consider tax.

Obi Femi Martins said he got 110k a week at Newcastle but by Monday he’d spent it all. He gave 50k to his family entourage and spent 50k clubbing/casino. So when he left for Inter he was still broke.

The way to go is the Mick Jagger method, just have a load of residences around the world and never live anywhere for longer than a couple of months, footy player can't really do that though.
