Fitha_whiskey
Fuck yeah!!!! 👍 Personally, I love this song. I realize it won't be everyone's cup of tea. I don't care for BHS, some love that. But this I can fuckin honestly say I love!
Hello, how are you?
Holy hell that made my hairs stand on end, good stuff!
GNR 1991
From the little clip there, it sounds really good. Awesome choice too. I remember Axl singing a little bit of Rhinestone Cowboy back at the start of the 2009 tour. Must be a pretty big Glen Campbell fan.
rendestroi95
Damn... can't hate on that, his voice fits perfectly
StrangerInThisTown
Much better than the James Brown cover, that one just makes me laugh it doesn't fit this band at all, lol
downzy
Not going to lie, wouldn't be too upset if this replaced BHS. Really cool cover with a great groove. Agree with other sentiments that Axl's vocals are well suited for this song.
Silverburst80
That was really cool actually, beautiful. Axl sounds great and look at Slash beaming at the end. I wouldn't mind at all if the boys went in that kind of direction if they were to record new tunes. r'n'r rebellion is a little hard to pull off in your 50's... heartfelt acoustic numbers not so much, especially if Rose is going to sound like that on them. Nosaj Thing
I'm surprised. Loved that cover. Hope to see more versions of it. Slash's guitar playing is glorious.

Agreed. That was great. This style of song would be a much better fit for the band now.

craiggunslover
Nice tribute but I'd rather hear a new song they wrote or a deep cut from illusion honestly
MaskingApathy
I thought it was cool that they honored Glen Campbell with that song. Still would like to hear more uyi stuff.
Popular Post uzi your illusion
Never heard this before as I'm not a Glen Cambell guy but I really enjoyed this one. Really good sign to see them trying out new stuff at this point in the tour. I find it comforting to know that they can stand being around each other enough to soundceheck and perform "new" material. In 2010 had you told me Axl and Slash would be on stage doing a new cover that they never played before, I wouldn't have believed you for anything. I'll take all the new songs they want to play.
allwaystired
Chatty crowd. Fucking hell, people like that drive me nuts. I've been in bars quieter than this! "Does anyone know what this song is?" Great version though- shame about the crowd.
-Jaro-
Well, obviously Axl has his vocie - but uses it only for non-GNR songs

Lies They Tell
Amazing! Hadn't heard that tune before, so this sounded like a new GNR song to me! As much as we'd all want to hear new GNR material, or even some deep cuts played, it's hard to be negative about this. Really cool to see them play something different, especially since Axl sounds amazing on it and Slash's guitar work is just phenomenal. If you're not gonna release new GNR music, just release a cover album. Seriously the Axl/Slash combo is just way too amazing and it's a waste of everything to not release new music with this GNR lineup.
Blackstar
I agree with everyone that it was very good. The best cover of the NITL tour and maybe one of the best they've ever done.
