Sosso
I've listened to song a lot recently and I wanted to know how do you rate it. It's my personal favourite from the album right now and I think that they should've recorded more songs like this. Bucket's guitar solo and the spanish guitar are two of the most beautiful moments on the entire album. cooker
I really don't like it. I find it boring.
IncitingChaos
Axl’s vocals were a big disappointment here. The live version is slightly better but the song was never matured properly. I think there’s a good song in there, but it wasn’t the version released. I hear a lot about Old guns and someone brings in a song one way, Slash rips it apart into something else, Izzy puts his spin on it and Axl would bring his own thing to it, this is one of those songs that could have been shredded into something better and hopefully wouldn’t be recognizable after that happened.
AxlRoseCDII
Really love the song. A definite “WTF” moment on the album especially for the first time through but I really think Axl made it work and it’s awesome.

It's the most experimental song on CD and also the most innovative one. Edited January 16, 2018 by Sosso
bucketfoot
I love it. Didn't think much of it at first but it grew on me after a few listens. The guitar work is some of the best on CD. It would make a good Bond theme.
Thorbear
Hated it for a long time. Then I heard the live version from Tokyo and something just clicked (might have been the "If there's a cure for this, I don't want it"-ad lib). Now I really enjoy it Edited January 16, 2018 by Thorbear
Gordon Comstock
Really underrated song. I see why people don't like the vocals on the chorus but I'm surprised more people don't like the raspy vocals on the verses. And of course the guitars are great. The live versions were stellar, too. Probably the song that transferred the best from the album to the live setting, aside from maybe CD or IRS.
ChineseDemocracy2004
Third best guitar solo from Chinese Democracy.

Gibson87
Not my favorite on CD but I like it.
SoundOfAGun
The lyrics are the let down on this song. The melodies are pretty good and the guitar solo is fit for purpose. Lyrically, it doesn't really say much, like a lot of CD.
Screamin' Demon
It's a very funky, serene-minded song that I would love to hear played live by Slash & Duff. I enjoyed every CD song being played in this fashion, particularly Sorry with Slash's amazing extended bluesy solos & I believe that If The World too could/would largely benefit from his magic. The same goes for I.R.S. & Street Of Dreams.

Lies They Tell
The worst song on the album if you ask me. The reason why I dislike a lot of pop music is because they are mostly just some crappy chorus that is repeated over and over and over again. That's kinda how If The World sounds to me also. The chorus is like a stupid cheesy James Bond song. And I don't care if it's stupid on purpose. It doesn't make it any better. It's not totally terrible though. There's some nice guitar playing on it and I guess the overall groove of the song is nice. I also like it when GNR is a bit experimental and tries different things. This one didn't work for me, but it's good to be experimental anyway.
F*ck Fear
Love it! I do prefer Axl's live vocals, however.
JoeyBananaduck
50/50 on it, as others have said. The production isn't great, nor are the lyrics or vocal performance. But it definitely has something. A unique vibe, plenty of atmosphere and some great guitar work.

default_
I like it, even the often negatively criticized digitally altered high pitch Axl vocals on it, I think it actually contribute to the overall weird mood and works.

I love Chinese Democracy of course, but ITW stands out from the rockers and ballads, and is a more unique piece of work as well. It works well as a result.

Gackt
Funky, love the vibe and the instrumental for the track. If I had to make any changes, it'd be to give the track more life in the percussion. The guitar solos are among the finest in the album.
