Rumor of a new album???

I'm not sure why Kat would have to be in LA to record an album.

Maybe she would have to be in LA to take studios photos to the album artwork and/or to promo things...But yeah, I think the fact that she has moved or not to Los Angeles is something personal, nothing related to a supposed new GNR album or whatever.

I live in the United Kingdom and Guns completely vanished from radio somewhere around 1993. To listen to Guns you'd have to put on a specialist ''metal/classic rock'' show on.

I heard PC on the radio the other day, and SCOM last week. And this is the biggest pop radio in NI.

You are taking the piss, right?@DieselDaisy

I live in Atlanta and we have two classic rock stations here and they are played on both stations at least once every three hours, all day, every day. 😆

In the United Kingdom you could stick on a regular radio station, Radio 1, 2, Virgin, etc., and you would be still waiting there until the world ends before you hear Guns N' Roses. Britain listens to stuff like Oasis, Radiohead, dancey stuff and rap. The only place you'd hear Guns N' Roses is on a specialist classic rock radio station and I think those are just digital (DAB) and have sprung up rather recently; there are two I believe, Planet Rock and Absolute Classic Rock. You'd find Guns on there but nowhere else - maybe Radio X occasionally

Britain rather worships Oasis.

I listen to the BFBS online radio and it's only British music

Never heard Gn'R or any other American band

For some odd reason, the other day they played "Despacito" :wow:

Musta been a hacker :rofl-lol:

If that's true you should be ashamed of yourselves.

You have to remember Guns never achieved a #1 single here like they did in America with Sweet Child. Appetite only reached #5 in the album charts. In the States it reached #1.

Yeah, GNR are played constantly in every major market to this day. Anyone claiming otherwise is 100% full of shit.

I am firmly in the thinking this is 100% Guns, my guess is the producer is Mutt Lange. With Axl's love of AC/DC and Bon etc... the best AC/DC albums were Mutt Lange albums and he would have to be considered a top 5 producer. Just my .02 cents

I don't know that the AC/DC camp keeps in much touch with Mutt though. Brendan O'Brien has done the last couple of albums so that would make me think he's higher on the list of "Angus recommended" producers if Axl came knocking on his door for advice.

WTTJ, PC, SCOM are still radio staples.

Even long ass November Rain still gets play.

I heard November Rain played on a mainstream Australian radio station... I don't know why some people think Guns aren't big enough for radio time. If they're big enough to have the fourth highest-grossing tour of all time, they're big enough for radio...

I just heard nice boys on my local Maryland radio last night. First I've heard that one, but guns are usually on every few hours

Same goes for Belgium. GNR is very rarely played.

I'd say that was true until about a year or so ago. I've heard both SCOM and PC recently on R2.

CDAN has it's fair share of bullshit but they do have a reasonable hit rate too. I think this could be equally true/untrue and it could also be about GNR or another band, their version of A list in any given situation has always been very flexible. So many occasions where they have revealed blinds that everyone thought was Tom Cruise etc..then turned out to be some soap actor.

I don't think at this stage in the game it's impossible that all three parties would agree to have an independent person make some of the harder creative decisions. If releasing an album (and further touring) is important to them I'm sure none of them want to end up in a situation where they fall out again over creative differences. Given that the NITL tour happened and without major incident I'm willing to assume Axl has perhaps changed his stance on a number of issues in the last few years.

So in the UK,  Radiohead would be a bigger draw on tour then GNR ? :jerkoff:

They are a billion percent referring to Guns. Anyone who doesn’t notice that is blind, dumb or both.

However......

Whether it’s true or not is a completely different story.

This.
