Are you ready for a new Challenge?

A few simple rules:

One song per post (You may hide additional ones in your post) to keep from slowing the pages loading.

Basic Guidelines:

Example - Live and Let Die - Paul McCartney and Wings  is the daily song for this example. Your challenge is to select a song to post using ONE of the following types of connections.

Connection to words in title - post a song using any of the words Live and Let Die in the title of that song. Exceptions for songs with names, places or colors in the titles, you can post a song with any name, place, or color in it's title.

Connection by collaboration - post a song by The Beatles or anyone else that Paul McCartney was in a band with or collaborated with like Michael Jackson

Connection by location - post a song by an artist or a band originating from Liverpool where the Beatles was formed and where Paul was born. Or from New York City where Linda McCartney was born.

Connection by year - this song was released in 1973 so post another song by anyone you choose that was released in 1973.

When posting your song, make note of the type of connection you are using. 😆

I have tried to cover songs from the 1950s to present years and tried to find ones with different words in the titles and not to have an artist or band more than once, so if some seem odd, that is why 😏

Here is your daily song list, if you are the first one posting that day, be sure to show the day # and name of that day's song and artist in your post. 😆

Day 2 Monkey Business - Skid Row

Connection: Collaboration :D

  Reveal hidden contents

Connection- the word "monkey"

Day 2 My Old Dutch - Albert Chevalier

Connection:  The song talks at one point about men and women being separated, as they were in the days when the song was written i.e. Victorian England when they used to work in workhouses, women being forcibly separated in the workhouse putting the men and women through obvious misery...and Axl Rose is obviously known for putting women through misery :D

Day 2

Connection: monkey

Same title (Monkey Man), two different songs

I apologize for going off topic so quickly on the thread.  :monkey:

When my son was little, this was one of his favorite toys, known affectionately around our house as Monkey Man!
