You have a lot of entitled individuals who love to take but do very little giving back. I still buy music, support the bands live etc. always have. Bootlegs are a healthy part of fandom that has been around forever and existed as a promotional tool back in the day. GNR is more than aware of what is out there and pulls the strings when needed. This doesn't come from the band.. This is someone who does not actually appear to own a copyright but is abusing the system in place due to perceived grudge not based in reality. I think we can all agree no matter what one believes regarding bootleg music and live concerts, what is happening here is wrong. I hope Frans and Gibbo fight back. The person filing their complaint has to back their copyright claim and if they cannot, will those strikes be able to stand? Its just unfortunate. I have met so many great fans. but "one bad apple spoils the whole damn bunch" hope that doesnt prove true. The story of that guy... but in the end he lost and he was the legal owner of everything... Never knew how easy it is for someone taking down other videos without needing proof that he is the actual owner or at least be assigned to do so. On the other hand it seems impossible to do something against it. I just do wonder because from my understanding "the band" just stopped Limulus new Paris 92 version a few days ago. And with regard to the Saskatoon bootleg you are sure that the current actions do not come from the band but from one stupid person named Warchild, Uzi Suicide or whatever?! Especially in the light of the Paris 92 happenings just one week ago I just do wonder that you expect the band being fine with the Saskatoon bootleg or its not the band being responsible for what is happening right now. This fella never took my Saskatoon video's down i put them on private so yesterday I made an Saskatoon DTJ video where I exposed his name because i wanted him to strike me. On all my videos i have monetizing from universal / geffen etc. In exchange they let me post their videos. Now I don't wanna brag about it but this is quite some cash I'm gegenerating for them.
