fanfzero
I guess someday we'll get it on dvdfull or 5.1 audio. Anyway, this audio seems like compressed or something, a dvd/vhs does not sound like that
Fashionista
People complain about a live version not sounding like the record, I say if you wanna hear the record, go listen to it. Live performances for me are all about improv.
gnrjanus
Jup already off. But you knew that would happen. Gnr lawyers are on a 24/7 service now to get everything off the air again. It is illegal audio and video that we were not supposted to have

adamsapple
Last era of actual bootlegs before the cell phone took over. People celebrating the music, dancing, singing, interacting with the musicians....oh boy what have we become? I remember trading CD's (!!!) with other fans back then as my internet was still dial up back then. What a historic recording, they should really ease up about these and let them stand for what they are for the fans. That stuff is a treasure for any hardcore fan, I'll take a nice bootleg like this over those box set gimmicks and litos any time.

Popular Post SoulMonster
It really was such a promising new beginning. The talents of Brain, Bucket and Robin. It is not hard to imagine why Axl had the drive and vision to rebrand the band and release new music with these guys onboard. But one after the other they left. The lineup fell apart as Axl lost it. Bumblefoot, Dj Ashba and Frank? Great musicians, sure, but for me personally, and obviously for Axl too, they weren't enough to sustain that desire and hunger. They weren't part of his vision for nuGNR. Only Pitman and Dizzy remained. And here we are, fans of a nostalgia band who will never get better and with lots of assumingly great music hidden away but which were created in a different times and with different musicians, likely to not see the light of day in years to come. It really is a pity. Despite the annoyance of not hearing the rest of the music that was created, I still feel lots of pity for Axl for how it went down. I am sure he must take a lot of blame for it, yet, I wish it would have turned out better, for me and for him. 5

I loved when they opened shows with Jungle. Easy is more traditional but nothing gets you more pumped at a concert opening than those first guitar notes and Axl welcoming you with "you know where TF you are????" Popular Post Estrangedfx
I'll start off by just saying.... Wow. I watched, then re watched (my favourite sections) just now. So while it's fresh in my mind, and apparently, pulled off YouTube already, here I go.... I know at this point, Knocking On Heaven's Door has become a staple most of you have grown weary of. Yes, the songs dragged on and on live for years, but when I first heard Axls "new" rendition of it at RIR3, I considered it to be the best, most definitive version of the song. Until now. This HOB 2001 live version (with the advantage of a proper mix and seeing the actual footage) is breathtaking. Axls crooning intro, strong vocals, with an almost Beach Boys-like harmony, courtesy of Axls newly introduced (in 2001, anyways) falsetto whispers and delicate "Ohh's".... I just LOVE it. Even today, he maintains some of those awesome, high pitched intros and outros. I'm in the minority, but I love it. The Blues.... Perhaps it's the freshly leaked demo excitement, but man..... This was his first performance of it live, correct? Just..... Beautiful. Overall, this is an era of the band I adored. Mickey- Point all ya want, but just listen to Patience here. Another example of how STRONG his lower register vocals were. With the added bonus of the crowds enthusiasm, chanting "Welcome Back!", It's an emotional and lovely rendition. Ill finish in a moment. Just a few quick observations. Anybody agree? Disagree? 5
