House of Blues 2001 ***NO LINKS***

Recommended Posts

Last era of actual bootlegs before the cell phone took over. People celebrating the music, dancing, singing, interacting with the musicians....oh boy what have we become?

I remember trading CD's (!!!) with other fans back then as my internet was still dial up back then. What a historic recording, they should really ease up about these and let them stand for what they are for the fans. That stuff is a treasure for any hardcore fan, I'll take a nice bootleg like this over those box set gimmicks and litos any time.

I couldn't make it past Jungle...

I loved when they opened shows with Jungle. Easy is more traditional but nothing gets you more pumped at a concert opening than those first guitar notes and Axl welcoming you with "you know where TF you are????" ;)

Between this and the Slash of Dreams thing, how have you survived the board this long?!

:P

I'm elusive haha.

We'll throw this nugget out there while I'm at it: Robin is my favorite guitarist ever to play in GN'R :):robin:

Wow, you're really missing out on an awesome and historic Guns N' Roses show.

Especially in '06. God that Rock AM Ring Jungle was magic.

He has such a strange weird playing style but that makes him Finck.  I like it two. He is my fave gnr guitarist from 1999/2007

I like Robin a fair bit more than most around these parts. Not more than Slash or Bucket, mind you, but I have a lot of love for that gangly weirdo.
