Bass concluded, with relevance to Axl's maturation: 'I have no doubts that these were the veterans of many struggles, but in their 60s (Axl's nearly there!), 70s, 80s and 90s, they appeared to have come out the other side intact, even strengthened. Myles' vocal technique consists of singing entirely through his nose.
