aside from the LA show, you can probably get half price tickets on stub hub day of the show.

I am pretty sure it was the Hampton NH show last tour that sold out and there wasn't even anything on Stubhub.

Either way, I just got me two tix..

Also for all the Myles haters, I am not a huge fan either but it is great while you are there.  Kind of like Mickey Axl... I would actually argue that a bad Myles sounds better than Axl's Mickey voice.  Myles was also a lot more listenable on World On Fire so I am hoping for more of that!

One or two floor tickets available on presale - but they are very back (section F6)

The fan presale and Rama member presale are about the same in terms of seat selection so they either froze out the floor or their preferred members gobbled up all the tickets

Just keep checking back, especially when the general sale starts up

the only way I think I'll go is if I get the floor as that venue is...not my style. Are you going?

If I remember correctly I think there were two Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom shows. One in 2014 (they played a lot of the material for the first time) and one in 2015 (that was my first ever concert!). I think it’s amazing how many songs Slash and Myles write together. Both of the albums have had 15+ songs

I love GNR as much as the next guy, and I’ll admit that I think Axl has always been overrated. Even in the old days his performance was inconsistent and now he straight up sounds like Mickey Mouse. I’m glad to hear that Slash and Myles have another album coming out and are touring again. I’ll take Myles over Mickey any day. To me, Axl’s appeal has always been about his attitude and unpredictability, not his voice. No doubt he’s a great frontman,  but he’s never been a great singer in my opinion. Good in the studio, but very inconsistent live.

In my opinion Axl isn't even a 'vocalist', it's just that the raspy voice that many people can do and that sounds shit when they do it sounds good when he does it. Even I can do a raspy voice, it's very inconsistent also and sounds shit. His is very inconsistent but sounds good. It's the same with Brian Johnson, but his was very consistent. It's not natural, it's more like a "tone" or something. I don't know how to describe it in English.

Mercury, Plant, Perry and Tyler for example are real vocalists, because they use their 'real voice' for singing.

But I'm not an expert, so everything I wrote might be complete bullshit.

I agree with most of this but man I think Axl 86 - 93 had one of the most bad ass and unique rock voices of all time \m/ I used to listen a ton of bootlegs all the way through and love that shit.

He had his moments where he was very good, but he also had just as many moments where he was pretty bad. The 1987 Marquee show I think was Axl at his best. The Appetite era was when he was the most consistent. He was up and down during the UYI era and mostly down during the nuGuns era. That 2011 Rock in Rio show was some of the worst singing I’ve ever heard. The only famous singers I can think of that have been worse than that are Vince Neil and David Lee Roth.

I drove over 3 hours without a ticket to that venue to see Kings Of Chaos a few years ago and got in for under face. Many of the tickets are given out for free to big gamblers and they were happy to dump them for whatever I offered. I had seats on the floor a few rows back and just walked up to the barrier. Now I think the show will sell out but I also think that those who get them for free and don't care to go will once again dump them for under face value.

Does Rama allow you to leave your seat and walk to the stage?

If I can get floor, I think I will go. The seating arrangement seems odd though.

The tickets for this tour are pretty reasonable. Around $40-50 depending on where you live.

80 bucks after surcharge for Philly 😩  I was really hoping to go too.  It is on my bday, but it is too much to take me and my gf since we are going for vacation 2 days later 😭

Super bummed

Seriously? For Phoenix it's $55.50, but I haven't looked into the surcharges yet.

Ticketmaster charges ridiculous fees. I went to buy $50 Avenged Sevenfold tickets yesterday and I selected a mobile ticket. They charged a $15 convenience fee.

Thanks Tom.

For everyone else - I just noticed this about the LA shows (on the ticketweb page):

Presales: 6/19 - 6/21

Public On Sale: 6/22 at 10am

So there's hope if you missed out today!

was the citi sale just he SLASH18 like posted on all his social media outlets?

also was anyone able to snag tickets for the LA show? I fucked up and wanted 2 tickets but somehow put 1 for the qty and pulled one but then went to change it to 2 and they were already gone and that was right at 10.

Yep, I got Ghost tix for the Chicago show and fees were almost 40% of the price.

I personally am super interested in seeing how Slash's set changes from previous tours, since at this point I feel like if he can get Myles and Todd to do a 24 song set it could be unreal, especially if they add in some stuff from GNR that they don't play often or at all.

My Ideal Set would be something along the lines of:

  1. New Song #1
  2. New Song #2
  3. You're a Lie
  4. Nightrain/You Could Be Mine
  5. The Dissident
  6. new Song #3
  7. Slither
  8. Starlight
  9. Civil War/Beggars and Hangers-On
  10. Shadow Of Your Love/Out Ta Get Me/Welcome to the Jungle [Todd]
  11. New Wong #4 [Todd]
  12. Locomotive [Myles and Todd]
  13. Back From Cali
  14. Halo
  15. The Unholy
  16. Rocket Queen
  17. New song #5
  18. Fall to Pieces
  19. Beggars and Hangers-On/Civil War [Acoustic]
  20. World on Fire
  21. Godfather Solo [Segue into Slither from WOF]
  22. Sweet Child O Mine
  23. Anastasia [Mainset Closer]
  24. Paradise City [Encore]

Maybe Toss, in a Myles Solo song here or there. Depending on the quality of the new album Id be totally fine with him dropping SCOM and PC.

Hopefully they keep GNR out of the setlist now - they have enough of their own material to do a full show

They won't do that. For two reasons:

1. it's something that casual Slash's fans come to see

2. they simply love to play those songs, not to mention how good they're doing it.

4-5 GNR songs are rock solid in the set. We can expect more deep cuts from VR/SS though. I see 'Jizz Da Pit' coming back, maybe 'Just Like Anything/Shine/Serial Killer'. They enjoyed playing 'Let It Roll' and 'Sucker Train Blues/Dirty Little Thing'. Set will vary, I'm sure. They have one of the biggest catalogue in the business to pick from. Three GNR albums, two VR albums, two Snakepit albums, three SMKC albums. Almost 100 songs...

Hopefully they will play Bad Company's 'Feel Like Making Love' intro to 'Slither' again, it's awesome.

 That was definitely a highlight in 2014.

Speaking of Paul Rodgers, I reckon Slash & Myles could do Wishing Well:

My dad would always play this song in the car :)
