I feel lucky that I enjoy it and am able to cook. Last spring I directed a lot of funds to my gardening operation and went for a lot of cheap convenience foods. I could really feel it - like reverse detox. So that kept me on the straight and narrow. But, yeah, there sure arent a lot of us home cooks around here. Gordon Comstock
Bowl of spicy chilli and garlic bread I used ghost pepper flakes and a blend of hot sauces, the flavours come out of the spices but it's not too hot. I use that ghost pepper seasoning in tons of dishes, it's awesome.

SoulMonster
Sunday roast today. Leg of lamb roasted in the oven with Provence spice. Then I boiled potatoes until just before they were done and fried them whole in oil at high temperature with lots of salt until they had a nice surface before reducing the temperature until they were soft inside. Fried russels sprouts and broccoli. Fried hedgehog mushrooms with salt and pepper and added sour cream and creme fraiche so I got a mushroom stew. Had a bottle of barolo to go with it. The wine was my dessert, too. Edited October 21, 2018 by SoulMonster

wasted
I could eat a hot dog with blue cheese. Which fine fast food establishment does hot dogs? I assume I’ll have to hire my own blue cheese. This is a mission.
