No more AXL/DC? Looks like AC/DC have reunited with Brian Johnson.

Recommended Posts

Cool day for ACDC fans! Imagine in 2015 if we got a picture of Slash walking up to Axl’s house...we’d have lost our shit

i guess it would be more like Slash meeting with Fortus haha

Bit disappointing, getting an AXL/DC album seemed quite likely and the best we were going to get with no GNR album on the horizon. That said if Johnson is back to record with them then I'm happy for their fanbase who no doubt would prefer it that way.

Looks like AC/DC have reunited with Brian Johnson and Phil Rudd. There's several credible links online.

Wait and see.

I don't believe it at the moment.

Come debating all you want that picture is from 2014, the Rock Or Bust sessions.

If that's so it would be funny for that surface now because there were no photos of Rudd in Vancouver in 2014. Some even doubted he played on that album because he was never seen.

Has Axl ever spoke about recording an album with AC/DC?

It may not be something he wants to do as Angus isn't gonna let him add 50 layers of shit to every song and take 15 years to do so

AXL/DC is no more, SMKC are touring so Axl has much more time to write songs. GNR album 2030 confirmed!

I`ve tried to explain this before and I`ll try again.

What`s happening in Vancouver now is not the beginning of a big reunion. Rumors says they are recording a few songs and not a full album. And we all know that Brian is not able or interested in a major tour, maybe a mini tour but that`s it.

That AC∕ROSE thing can still happen. It could be AC∕DC or a Supergroup.

It would be cool if the album included a farewell side for Brian and a new era side for Axl. 6 songs for Brian and 6 songs for Axl. They could then tour with both singers, and it would work out all right because they could have Brian sing some of the hits and his part of the new stuff, and Axl, the Bon stuff and his new stuff.

Aw, I kind of feel sorry for Axl :(

But maybe he's really pissed now and wants to bury Angus and AC/DC with the greatest GNR album in history ;)

Okay okay, let me dream...

Good. Brian belongs with AC/DC and I really want them to have a proper farewell together on their own terms. As much as Axl with AC/DC was fun, it wasn't AC/DC and it was certainly not how AC/DC should end.

Maybe this is the end of AC∕DC and maybe here will never be new music from Guns`n`Roses.

But I still think Axl and Angus can make new music togheter. Maybe they form a supergroup or something like that after Guns`n`Roses has finished their world tour.

Could it be that Angus decided to get Brian back after hearing Axl's recent vocal performances?

Just asking/guessing.

No it is not. I think this is just the original band getting togheter one last time.

Maybe this was decided in Malcolms funural when all the original members Angus, Brian, Cliff and Phil met each other and then they decided to do a project to  honour the great Malcolm.

If there was a plan to make new music with Axl those plans will be followed regardless of what`s going on in Vancouver now.

And Axl may not want to make an album with Angus, Billie Joel nor any other artist out there. I don't rule out the possibility that Axl has decided not work in a studio anymore nor he will write new songs. No problem with that, except that Axl should make it public if that is the case.

Well recent history teach us that Axl has a hard time making new music. But that doesn`t mean that he is not intested in recording again.

Must admit, Axl/DC proved a few people wrong - me included. It would be nice if a live album/dvd is released (from those shows) somewhere down the line. Good news though but then I'm a bit of a Brian fan.

I don't know, something seems wrong...Chris Slade has been giving interviews about Ac DC and noq he's out?

I still believe in Axl/DC until Angus says different.

This is of course good news for Brian AC/DC fans. Personally I have no interest in AC/DC if it's not Axl/DC. So if this is the end of Axl/DC, all I can say is hopefully that means we'll get a new GNR album sooner.
