As much as I love Guns N' Roses, VR re-ignited something in me which I hadn't felt since the original Guns dissolved.  Their energy was amazing and Scott was for me, a charismatic frontman. It was such a good time all around that VR and that era feels like one of the few times that I could sit and think I wish I could re-live that again.

I agree.  Especially during the Contraband era.  Sure it isn't quite as good as AFD or Illusions, but it rates up there as a really good effort.  It was so great seeing Slash and Duff, along with Scott, rise from the ashes of their other legendary bands and show they still had it.  It was a great time for sure!

Agree with this. I was kind of a casual STP fan, seeing Scott with VR live blew me away. Also loved the albums more than CD-I still loved the "new"GNR lineups also. Velvet Revolver did in 2004 what I had hoped Guns would do in 2002
