I’m not using the word “you” to mean you. It means more people in general. It’s not me and you. I’m not putting us in the ring.

I’m saying there’s a difference between saying something and physical abuse of people or property. In the sign example, I was just saying technically maybe there’s a case for property damage. But I appreciate the artistry or whatever. The free speech zone isn’t license to start burning cars and beating people up or spraying painting fuck you on property. It’s a minor observation, extension, not a comment on what you might think. I tend to have multiple, often contradictory thoughts about things. I’m not sure what that image means really, at first I thought the fuck you was in support of the sign.

It’s like a protest, people can go and say things but then they get carried away and start turning over cars. It defeats the object. Not to mention whoever’s car it is might agree with you.

I think the both sides thing comes up when people interject into a dispute or situation. It’s not meant to reduce life or people to two choices or sides. But in Antifa v Alt right protest violence it easy to stand to the side and just say both sides were violent in certain situations. Or if your anti war both political parties have contributed. You can argue degrees and general outcome, but sometimes not on principles. It might not be the majority’s perspective.

Yes, I understood and was just being playful about the use of "I" and "You." But I appreciate the clarification none the less.

So we are in agreement then, only flip over and torch police vehicles.

Definitely don’t do that. I wouldn’t even bother going to protests, they have no effect. People go and get riled up, looting starts and they nick a telly and suddenly they face a criminal record and jail time. Just get a bucket of chicken and some beers and go home. Merry christmas everbody!

Ha, yeah we couldnt think of examples of popular protest movements that have won major changes, eh? Thats a lie.

And protests lead to looting, huh? Ive seen that at riots but never protests. And more often then not there is no looting at riots either.

Also funny is when people think that a protest is the movement rather then a 3 hour representation of a movement that lives, breathe and acts everyday all day. Its an incredibly effective publicity tool, plus a million other things.

Also, pro tip: dont torch police cars at rallies. Torch em when their guard is down. I dont think you've been to a riot or a protest.

Wasted appears to be talking more about like riots that begin as a form of like...public indignation towards whatever the gripe of the day is, in the early part of this decade it was the death of Mark Duggan and my man Smiley Culture, in the 80s it was the Brixton riots which were a response to the stop and search laws...and the Notting Hill Carnival riots (which, for a piece of patented useless Len trivia, Joe Strummer and Paul Simonon of El Clash Combo took part in, he tells a funny story actually about trying to torch a car with a pack of Swan vestas  ), those are the ones where a lot of oppertunists get in and start looting.

No I wouldn’t, I wouldn’t encourage anyone else to either. What I’m saying is one thing leads to another. I would never torch a cop car, I’m not a Phillies fan.

Those London riots around the Euros time. Everyone was having a great time but later you had girls who stole shoes getting jail sentences. It was about police kiling a black guy or something.

I’m just saying know what you’re doing or getting into. Don’t go smashing up cop cars because they will ruin your life.

Like the Alt right guy at Charlottesville. He’s going to do time. He’ll have to question what he was really thinking that day. Would probably be better if he just didn’t care.

Yeah it was Mark Duggan who died, got shot by cops.  Plus reggae star Smiley Culture died in suspicious circumstances.  Get on this right, the filth raided his house and somewhere during the process of this raid Smiley went to the kitchen to make a cup of tea (not something you're allowed to do during a raid) and apparently stabbed himself in the heart with a butcher knife.

That sparked off some sort of protests/riots/looting. There was a legit complaint but people got arrested or caught on cameras. Overall not worth it.

It looked like fun. But a few months later they were doing people for picking up some trainers.

Thanks, I'm not unfamiliar with the phenomena of looting. I appreciate you helping to clarify because I do sometimes find wasted hard to follow. But, in this case given the image that started off the discussion, I'm not convinced that he was talking about spontaneous riots. Heres the image I posted:

When extreme liberalism meets extreme conservatism.....

I heard the ''latest thing'' is transracialism whereby you just decide you're a different race and adopt the language, clothing and social mores of that said race; it goes without saying that these are usually white people imitating black ''hippy hoppy'' people, which I suppose has been going on for some time but now they have a distinct category through which they can feel offended.

Vanilla Ice was thus a pioneer for us all!

What if you're a transracial transsexual? Twice the trans!

(Blows brains out).

In India they would give you two slaps and send you on your way if you tried some bullshit like that, those guys don't prosecute proper crimes like rape and murder half the time, let alone this shit.

Homemade Dishwasher Detergent (Powder)

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups Citric Acid

1 1/2 cups Washing Soda

1/2 cup Baking Soda

1/2 Sea Salt (course)

Directions:

To make Washing Soda, preheat oven to 400f (mine runs low so I preheat to what the oven calls 410f). Spread Baking Soda on a pyrex tray, no deeper then 1/2 inch. Bake for 1hr, then stir gently with a fork being careful not to upset the fine powder into the air. Bake an additional 30 mins or until the Powder changes from the cornstarch/'cornflour' texture into a more course and thick texture. You can also buy Washing Soda at the grocer.

While that cools, mix the Citric Acid, Baking Soda and Sea Salt together in a large bowl. Make sure to eliminate any clumps, using fingers.

The Baking Soda that you baked has been transformed into a new substance, Washing Soda. Put on a clothe Respirator mask preferably with a nose fitting bar - like you can buy at hardware or pharmacy for cheap. Washing Soda, unlike Baking Soda, is caustic. Goggles optional. Avoid touching Wasing Soda with hands to the degree possible.

Use a whisk to gently incorporate the Washing Soda into the premixed bowl of ingredients. I do this outdoors weather permitting, but inside is fine and safe. I use a wide mouth funnel and scoop 1/2 cups at a time, gently and slowly pouring the mixed Dishwasher detergent into a jar. Cap right away. Lable and store. Wash hands.

When using, ensure that the dishwasher receptacle is completely dry as detergent will clump and become unusable if exposed to even a tiny drop of water.

I have a counter-top Dishwasher so I use a 20g scooper full. For a full size model, follow instructions, which are usually marked on the powder detergent receptacle itself, to determine the amount.

Super cheap and all the ingredients are pantry staples anyways.

In all seriousness, I feel for the dog. :(

Poor dog!

It is interesting how many characteristics the dog shared with the Donald. Being a bad neighbour, not following rules, amassing a long list of accusations, having a law enforcement file and marking territory with piss. Also, prolly leg-humpin'.

Got to assume he was pawing bitches by the pussies too...

Definitely feel for the dog.  First he was named probably the worst thing to name a dog, then gets shot.
