RussTCB
I've been hearing a ton of good buzz on this. I'm going to go see it today if at all possible:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSbzyEJ8X9E
dontdamnmeuyi2015
Yeah, hearing great things too. Lady Gaga was on Stephen Cobert the other night and he raved about it. ET weekly magazine said get her Oscar dress ready. Wow! Heard how Bradley did the writing and directing and acting in it. Lady Gaga wrote some songs too with Willie Nelson's son. If anyone sees this movie, please let us know how it was? Seems like it could be a break out hit for gaga.
cineater
We were talking about this at lunch. This is the 3rd remake of that movie. My mother saw it when Judy Garland was the star and I saw the remake with Barbra Streisand. This one my daughter can see. I don't want to spoil the ending if you don't know but let me know how this one ends.

appetite4illusions
I think the biggest shock is how well Andrew Dice Clay can clean himself up. It's the first time I've ever seen him out of his cartoon character.

At first he seemed to be doing a "stereotypical Italian father" type of character, but I like that he stretched out a little bit as the movie went on. Really good acting all around from everyone, I thought.

I guess being from Brooklyn, I've always loved Dice, no matter how crazy he could be. Glad this movie is so good. I loved gaga and I think she deserves all the success she gets. Amir
I'm upset the cover of Pretty Woman isn't on the soundtrack. That guitar intro rocked.

Tori72
I have a probably stupid question. So this is the remake of a remake of a remake kinda movie, right? Why is it so important? Serious question. I have no cultural history with this film and I don’t get the buzz about it. Or is it about a real person’s life, a biography or something? It's just a story that's been told several times is all.

Nosaj Thing
Watched it few weeks ago because the release in Peru was delayed for some reason. Loved it. Candidate to one of the best films of 2018.

Uncle Bob
Most overrated movie of the year IMO It's good, but... not the masterpiece people are saying it is
BlueJean Baby
Finally got to see it tonight. I loved it, even if my eyes are swollen from crying watching it. 😭
username
Loved the movie! Absolutely loved the soundtrack as well. End ending bummed me out in the sense that they really made me care about the characters, so that was very well done. Man, when you hear Gaga sing and play in this she's fucking amazing. Makes me scratch my head why the hell she made all that horrible crap she's famous for. She's obviously talented.

I think seeing his cross eyed self, was what threw me about whether it was him or not. When I saw his name in the credits, I was like “wow, that was him!” I applaud him for stepping out of his goody comedy character he’s known for.
