I think soulful is a good start. It works on the song Ain’t Life Grand and Back to the Moment. I think it’s just not “hard rock” that’s Slash’s base. I liked it more than his solo albums, but I can only speak for myself. It is weird that Slash and Jack Douglas isn’t more popular. The alt rock supergroup is no 1.
