Tom-Ass
Great song off TSI.. Love the guitars.. Heard Black Leather this morning at the gym too which is another good one.. Would have been interesting to hear what that lineup could have given us... Judging from the Slash/Gilby chemistry on Pawnshop guitars and IFOS I bet it would have been pretty bad ass.
Ninjapie24
Idk why cover albums are so good. TSI and Garage Inc. are two of my favorite albums. I still think it’s the worst GNR album, but that’s saying something since I still love every song. Garage Inc. has some serious competition for worst album by Metallica. Either way, both are fucking great.
ezosk
I have similar feelings regarding TSI? and CD; I like a few of the songs on them and don't care at all to few others, but overall I think both are underrated some ways. And indeed, Ain't it fun is one of the best (if not the best) songs on TSI.
jamillos
Cool song indeed but would have replaced it on GH with something else.

UsedYourIllusion
That and Black Leather I think are GNRs best covers. Although Dead Flowers can definitely compete with them. I just love the production of TSI, it's so balanced. It's everything I wish the UYI production would have been. Hell even Appetite might have benefitted from that sort of sound

diegodasilva23
Hey, I know the song is in the Greatest Hits album, but I didn’t live the period of time when it was released, so, was it a hit of the band? Another question, I know Estranged isn’t in the Greatest Hits album, but, was Estranged a hit of the band too?

dontdamnmeuyi2015
Awesome version by GNR. I also love "Hair of the Dog". Man I love screaming the chorus when I'm in my car!
TheDemocracyRose
The first time I heard it in the radio I couldn't hear it was Axl in the beginning... Love the intro with the drums coming in. Many great tracks on Spaghetti.
Caught_in_a_Coma
Awesome and relevant song for the band. Speaking of their covers on that album, I love SIDHY. I enjoy 50s era sort of music like the original is and Axl's voice is incredible on the song

Ain't It Fun did get some airplay on the radio but I don't think Estranged ever did. While a great song, Estranged was a flop on MTV as well. In the States Guns popularity was dying down a bit. The whole grunge era had moved in and it was cool for people to hate on Guns.. Even a good portion of the hard rock/metal community were kind of burnt out on Axl around that time. 1

It got to number 9 in the official UK charts but only stayed for 3 weeks in the top 100. CD got to 27
Ninjapie24
My favorite on TSI is Hair of the Dog, but Ain’t it fun is still fucking great. As for Garage Inc. I love Queen and Metallica so the Stone Cold Crazy cover is fucking amazing. I like just about every cover on that album, except maybe the extreme number of Motörhead covers.
