Poll: What do we as fans and consumers want?

As fans and consumers, what do we want to see made available for purchase? This can be anything from a new album to stuff we know could be made available (why is the Spaghetti Incident out of print??!!).

As a fan I just need a normal band-fan relationship.

 

point 1: Release dvds of important performances when momentum exists and no later than 6 months. (example: Troubadour 2016)

point 2*: Be transparent. if there's a jack-ass removing fan made content from the internet, man up and say it loud and clear that it's the band's policy and explain the reasons of this behaviour (for example: "the band wants to provide fans with high quality official bootlegs that's why we do this crap")

point 3: Kick unprofessional managers. If you feel sympathy towards some of your nanny/friends/family and would like to financially benefit them it's none of our business and we're absolutely fine with that, we don't give a f*ck about how you spend your money but don't involve them into your musical project.

* to resolve point 2, please don't send some wacko to the forum who disrespects fans.

 

That's all. I'm done having hope in the band's future. Personally at this period and time I don't want any more new albums, anything exciting anymore.

A new album.

Failing that, dump-release a box-set of everything from the “Chinese” sessions that had vocals. 

Live shows from the AFD, UYI and ‘01-‘10 CD eras are all welcome but not more pertinent than new material. A NITL Blu-ray is the most likely scenario there, hopefully it’s a compilation of the best performances of each song played.

Hot take: I’d take an official Axl/DC live album over any NITL stuff

First, a live package of NITL tour (with a possible 30-min behind the scenes documentary). After that, a new album.

Would be a no-brainer for any other band.

Failing that, the Supposed Chinese leftovers - without Slash input, so just as they are. 

 

Third choice would be an Axl/Dc album. Brand new original one. No covers.

They absolutely don’t owe us anything. However, as fans and ‘consumers’ I was keen to see what other folk would like to have.

Particularly when there are items out there which have been left to fans to get to a worthy quality such as Ritz 88. As a fan and consumer, I would happily part with cash for an official Ritz 88 set.
