Problem is the original racism memes were posted outside of that forum, then recently new ones were posted. The targeted person knew it was directed at them, but since the first ones were not there, they could not use those against the person who made them. This was my experience too. I was also a member around 2017 but didnt renew. I remember posting something positive aboout Bumblefoot and that mofo got all sensitive for some reason. apparently its not cool to be interested in some ex-members there. I think since the 2016 reunion. gnr online community has turned sour big time. Even in 2015 htgt was way more active than its been the past couple years. with hc fans talking about cool things like comparing everyones favourite live performances of certain songs ect. Fernandos mum Beta is an old friend(only pen pal type) with Mofo ? any time Jarmo bans Mofo, Mofo would send an email to Beta and in turn she would call her son and ask him to speak to Jarmo about letting Mofo back on the forum using some lame excuse like "he was drunk and made a mistake, it won't happen again". with that type of set up Jarmo thinks there is just no point banning him if he takes orders from Fernando and the end result is Jarmo is in a situation he doesn't want to be in and Mofo can do as he pleases. I've no idea if this is correct, but from my time there, I certainly got the impression Jarmo doesn't like Mofo, contrary to what was said somewhere in this thread. Oh yes he would be all over anything that anyone said if he didn't agree with it. A lot of members were put off by this and left the forum. Many complaints were sent to Ticketmaster, who took over the fanclub, and the reply was they didn't run the forum and you need to contact the Moderators. As completely nonsensical as a "delete videos involving Slash" campaign sounds, that's not even their point. They're deleting everything, from all eras. So of course, the whole thing makes absolutely no sense. The only thing that makes any sense is the anger with mygnr, or anywhere that's not Nightrain or Truth actually.
