That's too bad, because though the ticket prices were high for those shows, Axl's vocals were better at both shows than they had been earlier that year.

Not Axl/DC caliber, but definitely way better than he was averaging that year.

I'm just so glad that the Toronto gig in 2016 happened for us, because that was a special day!

There's gotta be a new album on the horizon with these new tour dates...unless its just a straight up cash grab tour. If you get to see GNR good on ya but to me in lowly north west of England, it just seems like these dates are getting in the way of recording, unless something comes out in the fall we are not getting a new album until at least 12-18 months, 11 years since CD came out and was finished well before its November 2008 release date. Just release some new music will ya for Christ sake! 15 tracks released in 20 years!!! But demand 900 dollars a concert ticket?...GTFO.

My buddy and I are going as well.  Maybe we can have a pre-show meetup somewhere with people from the forum that are going.

Lets do this! I put a reminder in my phone to follow up with you about this closer to the show!

Sadly I think that because it’s still called the Not in This Lifetime tour that new music will not come and should not be expected right now

True.

We got the possibility of new album news from the Guns lineup of 2010-14 and then they disbanded, reunion happened & it seems Slash, Duff & Fortus are doing what Bumblefoot, Ashba, Fortus & Pitman used to do with the subtle little hints of new music in interviews but at same time have a big handful of tour dates round the corner.

In the latest Slash interview where he talked about a new Guns album, he confirmed it, so it was more than subtle little hints but as always Axl decides the when and the how so this is why Slash and Duff embraced the approach of "if it happens, it happens". (and if not at least we're still back in Guns making a killing and playing to tens of thousands of people around the world)

I think the NITL tour will conclude in 2020 and then they will finally enter the studio to work on a new album and that's best case scenario.

My buddies and I are going to the Saturday night Vegas show.

I refuse to live in a world where the 'original' GNR is playing 2 night 4,000 person Friday/Saturday night Vegas show and not go to at least one of them.

Goddamn it.

You're completely correct, my apologiges. Ticketmaster is a major problem with the ticket buying prcoess in the US though, that's for sure. Nothing has been proven (yet) but they're definitely working with the resellers to screw over the fans. Hopefully it'll all come to light someday.

Oh it's been proven..

Re: Vegas shows... seems like a large  segment of tickets (around middle sections behind VIP and Platinum) were never available on Ticketmaster.   I tried diligently with all presales and thereafter and saw VERY limited tix, if any. Anyone else experience same and can share  any insights?

I believe it, I saw little to no sales of those seats on any of the presales. Not like it matters too much, I am all the way in nosebleed for Friday, but I planned the trip before I saw the prices and got my wife pumped up to go there.

Probably high roller/special guest tickets that the casino will dish out how they see fit, high ups in companies they deal with, probably some promotional tickets involved somewhere in that mess somewhere etc etc.

That's how every show ever works on Ticketmaster.

Yeah, same here... But maybe recording is done till then and it's just about mixing and mastering at that point... Wishfull thinking, I know...

Didn't Richard say s.th. about, that there won't be any touring without new music?

Read some of the other posts in this thread. They won't be sold - but Ticketmaster love you to think they are so you're conned, sorry, PERSUADED into paying their self-touted platinum prices.

My humble advice would be if the seats you want aren't available, don't buy ones you don't want, just wait it out.

That's what I'm doing now.

I was able to snag a single ticket for Friday night. In the uppermost mezz in the second to last row. $174+fees = $221 total. Will be trying to get a similar seat for Saturday...

While not a great deal I also bought 2 in the top Row D. They were delivered on Tuesday.

Been a couple of weeks, may have more shows to announce this week is my thinking.  I think something changed along the way and mini tour went to another leg.  I think the clue is in continuing to use the NILT name but that could be any number of things we weren't expecting to see from GNR again.  Exciting times nonetheless.
