Theres a song called Futile dream by Area54

https://lyrics.fandom.com/wiki/Area_54:Futile_Dream

I catch the nigh train in my head (in my head)
They're out to get me want me dead (they want me dead)
And I'm still right next door to hell (I just can't tell)
These 14 years cast the spell (and wrote my hell)

I would put a YouTube link up but its so obscure it isn't on there.

"Yeah, She's dancin' with the devil,
In the cold November Rain.
When she's Knocking On Heaven's Door, son,
You can bet God'll call her name.

She ain't into Wine and Dining.
She's shooting whiskey singing sweet child of mine, man.
Ridin' 95 sittin' shot gun pretty.
Turnin' this town into paradise city.
Runnin' wide ass open.
Just as fast as this thing goes, boy,
Give me some more.
She's my little rock star, man she knows it.
My baby's Guns 'N Roses."

Seriously, this song was released in 2013, and since it, youtube keep bringin' it down.
I'm now thinking that guy with W in his first name is on the staff of youtube.

I've always been certain King Nothing by Metallica is about Axl.

I’ve always been convinced King Nothing is about Axl too.

I used to think Pearl Jam’s Soon Forget was about Axl as well - but I think that’s because I was listening to Binaural a lot around the time Axl cancelled the entire Euro tour in 2001 and I felt very bitter about it all.

Not sure. Around the time that song came out Metallica were wearing wristbands & extreme eye shadow after calling all the hair metal out for it in the '80s & early '90s. They tried to cling on to the grunge movement so desperately, especially with there imagery. Shame really cause they set the bar extremely high in the '80s for metal & hard rock acts, Metallica's '80s albums should be in every best ever metal & hard rock album lists.

Wait. What? Maybe I'm wrong but I guess I don't remember Metallica ever wearing makeup. I also don't know what their look would have to do with King Nothing being about Axl.

Didn’t the band and crew used to mockingly call Axl “King Axl” on the UYI tour, sure I’ve read that before, and that’s why I think the Metallica song is titled King Nothing and some of the lyrics certainly seem to be about Axl.

Maybe not all of the lyrics are about him alone but it seems they had Axl in mind when writing that song.

The makeup thing happened. You can see Lars, Jason, and Kirk with make up on in the Until It Sleeps music video. After the Black album they've chased trends for years. They stopped doing that after St. Anger came out.

Oh man. I forgot about that. I'm really upset I remember it now.

Layne Staley did a rare performance with AIC that year and called them Mascarica right before they played Sludge Factory lol.

on topic: Snakepit’s Good To Be Alive is about Axl, I’m pretty sure. Then there’s also the obvious CD stuff like Sorry, Madagascar, Hardschool, etc... oh and izzy’s Box song is another one.

Could be. But could really be about anybody -- or nobody. There's really nothing all too specific in the lyrics to make me believe it has to be about him.

I think that was confirmed by Metallica?

King Nothing is about Axl as well,  probably.

I'll say this .... if either or both are true, AXL is surely living free rent in Metallica's head. That's a lot of focus and attention to someone they (specifically Hetfield) doesn't seem to like.
