Draguns Posted September 21, 2019 Share Posted September 21, 2019 (edited) This is my order of the best songs so far from the leaked demos: 1. Hard School: Classic GNR sound with a modern touch. This has a You Could Be Mine feel to it. 2. Perhaps: UYI meets CD. Good song 3. Atlas Shrugged: It sounds good but needs something from Slash. 4. State of Grace: It has a good groove but needs work. Slash and Duff would be able to improve this song. It somewhat reminds me a bit of Dr Feelgood in regards to the groove. Additionally, Dr Feelgood's groove was from GNR, which Motley Crue stole from. Note: Quick Song and Zodaic are good instrumentals but needs Axl's lyrics and voice along with some from Slash. The other demos are just not my thing. So if they rehearsed it for that show, isn't it fair to assume it did have vocals at that point? But then why wouldn't they have recorded it with vocals on the locker CD set?
