Axl was giving 110% in my opinion and was entertaining as fuck every second of the show. One thing I really wanted was to hear Locomotive or Hard School, and when out of the darkness between songs, Axl said the words we all long to hear: “Ok we’re gonna try something”, I knew the time was at hand! He said something like “we haven’t played this since, what, 1992 I think”, and I started yelling Locomotive!!! It was fuckin awesome! I still can’t believe Axl went for it, and kicked ass! @GoBuckyto answer your question, nobody I could see where we were had a clue what it was. But it got really loud cheers after the fact... They did it for themselves and the fans in attendance obviously, but they definitely knew it would get the diehards, casuals, and media talking. Wonder if there could be more to that.
