jekylhyde
I mean... I would be over the moon hearing that setlist. Old Gn'R, new Gn'R, Velvet Revolver, a few deep cuts... Something for everyone. I know it's been a few years already, but the fact that they play Coma and Slither regularly still makes me happy. Popular Post Amir
Finally got in at 21:30, show started ten minutes later. What an utter shitshow. Never going to a gig at Estadio Jalisco again. Gutted they played Coma instead of Locomotive :/ No Madagascar, either. Songs like RQ and YCBM are neutered without rasp. There was zero pyro at this show. LALD was awesome when it had pyro, then with NITL they subbed that with gunshots for some reason. Tonight they didn't even have those. On the plus side, no BHS or Wichita, and no extended NR intro, likely due to the late start time (which was not the band's fault). Set felt less bloated as a result. Also, Shadow was as great as it was in 2018, and Slash's new solo spot is immense, and I say that as someone who's not the biggest blues fan. Obviously these shows are not for hardcore weirdos like me. Weirdly, I found the crowd subdued compared to other Latin American gigs I've been to. Phones came out for SCOM and NR, but I didn't see much dancing or jumping around in the "golden circle" (which was really the front two thirds of the stadium, false advertising there). If you haven't seen any NITL shows, I'd say go. Otherwise, wait until they release new music and start playing it live. I headed for the exit as soon as The Seeker started. tl;dr: Go see Iron Maiden instead, good chance you'll get to hang out with @Powerage5, too. 5
The Real McCoy
The fact that this thread has only reached six pages shows the apathy that this band has caused the fanbase to suffer from due to their stubborn refusal to change the setlist.
Lio
Yeah, I'd still go to shows, but I'm hoping by the time they get to Europe there will be a new release. These shows are only interesting if you're going to them yourself. Not really interesting just to follow online. Let's hope this is calm before the storm, but in a good way. IncitingChaos
The reason the setlist is the way it is is because it’s easier to run a production when everything is in order. No long pauses between songs, the video, light, sound people are all on the same page. It’s a massive production for them and the stale setlist allows it to flow better for the production team. I think they could pick a better order for some of the songs, but it’s still a good show. im not saying nobody should complain, but there’s a lot going on behind the scenes and although it can be done to have various songs changed up, this is the easiest route for the team as a whole. And to be fair to the complainers they could have changed the set between legs or over a break, however they didn’t so no reason to expect a miracle anytime soon.

There’s a strong amount of truth to the spirit of those audiences, but Americans have access to 20-30 cities for every major band. Imagine if global bands only played a couple of shows every couple of years in America. South and Central America have access to one to two shows every so many years.
Popular Post TheDemocracyRose
This is a depressing thread. Not because of the setlist but the complaining. Edited October 19, 2019 by TheDemocracyRose
vloors
These concert threads used to be 50+ pages long. Now barely 7 lol. Things are really getting stale with the same old setlist and no addition of new music obviously. Edited October 19, 2019 by vloors
Popular Post agustingloger
We have Axl and Slash playing togheter. They're playing the classics, Shadow of your Love, Coma, Locomotive!!!!! Axl is singing Slither come on! Yeah of course we want new music, izzy ( there was a negotiation to bring him back) (and Steven (whom was giving a sort of a chance and maybe if he hadn't break his back...) Complaining is free but Just remember we had Axl doing a residency with Dj ashba come on! Enjoy what we got... They are humans They do what They can. And certainly They don't owe us anything. What we did for humanity? I will listen and love doing it Appetite for destruction till the day I die and I Just can thank them for that masterpiece. I don't know man Just being positive in this shitty forum 11 2
