I think they rehearsed it way before and not particularly for this show. Maybe it was an on the spot decision to play it tonight. It was a fun mess. Speaking of which, when the leaks were happening, i did actually dream that Axl was singing Atlas and Perhaps. Sounded okay! AxlRoseCDII
Gotta say, I'm glad they brought it back and are trying new things, but that was kind of a train wreck. Could've used another rehearsal or two. And I don't mean to be that guy, but god damnit Axl, at least bring a little rasp out for Dead Horse. I've grown to accept his cleaner voice over time but this song could've really used some power and grit. You were the AC/DC frontman only a few years ago, you could easily handled it Axl. Gibsonfender2323
Axl you do know you are supposed to use a Acoustic Guitar right? No complaining just thought you should know
suckerpunched03
On one hand the entire gnr catalog feels open playing locomotive and dead horse. And on the other it feels like it’s time for something fresh. Good for the band and the people rocking out tho. Might not be that many in the latter

MildlyArtistic
Pretty cool to hear Dead Horse again, especially in the same show as Locomotive.

Irritates me how dead the crowd is on this. They need encouragement to play deep cuts like this. Maybe it's just the ones in the video idk. Maybe it's just the ones in the video idk. They keep playing Witchita Lineman, and by all accounts that puts the audience to sleep, so I'm sure the actual GNR deep cuts should be fine. After all, Coma has been a setlist regular for the whole tour.

Again, look at AC/DC, Shadow of Your Love, Jungle, Better bridge, YCBM bridge etc...Dead Horse could've really used at least a little of that.
