Two covers in the encore is pathetic and uncalled for.

Kudos to Axl. He started this leg quite off-key, but since the mexican shows he's been a mean machine. Simply amazing, hope he keeps it up for the South American tour next year!!

How so?

How can you justify playing “Black Hole Sun” over “Patience?” “The Seeker” over anything else from the list of alternates?

I’ll praise this band when they do something right, but I’m also going to criticize them when they do something boneheaded like play two cover songs in the encore when there’s NO need for it.

The fact that they’re still covering “Black Hole Sun” and “Wichita Lineman” is just nonsensical, quite frankly.

Call me overly easily to be pleased, but I am stoked that in 2019 there is a setlist that has Dead Horse and Coma on it, as well as the occasional Locomotive.  I still can't believe certain aspects of this reunion are even happening, given how long we had to wait for Axl and Slash to even consider being on stage again

Just gettting out and stuck in traffic. I havent really kept up with the band since spring 2017, but Axl looked the happiest he as in years up there. Slash also brought out his og 89 Les Paul with the cig burn in the rain and loved every minute of it!!! My mind is blown

Glad you enjoyed it. When I saw them at Exit 111 I have never seen so many smiling faces. I had a ton of pictures from the rail and a lot of them had smiles, more than any other Guns shows I have been to. I really hope that they take advantage of this and keep trying new things, like songs they haven't played in a while, and new music. Also get rid of some of the covers.
