My World has been streamed 2.7 million times??

Mark that down as 2.7 million times someone played the Alt Version of Don't Cry, then let it continue on after they left the room. 149 million or so other people caught it and stopped the track before it ruined their ears.

I'll never forget receiving the shock of my life as a child when Don't Cry Alt. finished and I heard My World for the first time.

I've mentioned this on here a lot, but I have people over to spin records every Friday. About a year ago, UYI II got pulled and someone wanted to hear YCBM. So I said, ok but we're gonna listen to the Alt Version of Don't Cry too. Then I sprung My World on them right after with no warning. I think they're still mad at me lol

How does Don’t Cry Alt have the same numbers as the mainstream version?

They'd just add the numbers of streams for both of them together and put in on both as they're pretty much the same song

Izzy sings on DTJ? I thought that was Axl

When I first got UYI I, I thought it was Axl. Then for a long time I thought it was Duff. Then I realized eventually it's Izzy. I could've just read the linear notes the whole time lol

These are the streaming numbers from Spotify. I'm trying to figure out which UYI songs should they play live again? Locomotive and Dead Horse are 2 really good choices they made. I was kinda surprised by some of the numbers, like So Fine, and how popular the Izzy songs are. I highlighted some special things.

UYI I

1. November Rain - 309 million

2. Don't Cry - 152 million

3. Live And Let Die - 71 million

4. Double Talkin Jive - 9,6 million - Izzy vocals

5. Dust N Bones - 9,5 million - Izzy vocals

6. Coma - 9 million

7. Don't Damn Me - 8,7 million - never played live

8. Right Next Door To Hell - 8,3 million

9. Dead Horse - 6,9 million

10. Back Off Bitch - 6,5 million

11. Bad Obsession - 6,3 million

12. You Ain't The First - 5,9 million

13. Perfect Crime - 5,6 million

14. Garden Of Eden - 5,4 million

15. The Garden - 5,3 million

16. Bad Apples - 3,9 million (sad this is the low light because I love this song for it's funny lyrics and quirky vibe. It was written by the whole band too, Axl, Slash, Duff and Izzy, the only song in the UYIs that has that credit actually.)

UYI II

1. KOHD - 235 million

2. Don't Cry Alt - 152 million

3. Civil War - 81 million

4. You Could Be Mine - 65 million

5. Estranged - 33 million

6. Yesterdays - 23 million

7. 14 Years - 12 million - Izzy Vocals

8. So Fine - 9,5 million - WTF

9. Locomotive - 8,2 million

10. Get In The Ring - never played live / Pretty Tied Up (tie, lol) - 7,8 million

11. Breakdown - 6,4 million

12. Shotgun Blues - 6,3 million - never played live

13. My World - 2,7 million - thankfully never played live

GNR Lies

1. Patience - 117 million

2. Used To Love Her - 19 million

3. One In A Million - 10 million

4. You're Crazy - 5,7 million

5. Mama Kin - 4,4 million

6. Reckless Life - 3,4 million

7. Nice Boys - 3,3 million

8. Move To The City - 3 million

AFD

1. Sweet Child O Mine - 620 million

2. Welcome To The Jungle - 403 million

3. Paradise City - 371 million

4. Nightrain - 39 million

5. Mr Brownstone - 34 million

6. Rocket Queen - 28 million

7. It's So Easy - 24 million

8. My Michelle - 23 million

9. Out Ta Get Me - 18 million

10. Think About You - 16 million

11. Anything Goes - 12 million

12. Shadow Of Your Love - 12 million (pretty good for a "new" song to get so many hits. Just makes you realize how big new music from GNR is going to be)

CD

1. Chinese Democracy / This I Love - 14 million

2. Better - 13 million

3. Street Of Dreams - 7,7 million

4. There Was A Time - 6,8 million

5. If The World - 6,7 million

6. Shacklers Revenge - 6,6 million

7. Sorry - 6,1 million

8. Catcher In The Rye - 4,2 million

8. Madagascar - 4 million

9. Prostitute / IRS - 3,2 million

10. Scraped / Riad N The Bedouins - 3,1 million

A couple observations:

- Apparently GNR really need to bust out So Fine live. It even beats out Locomotive by over a million, lol.

- It's interesting that after the singles, the most popular songs on both albums are actually Izzy sung ones, Dust N Bones, DTJ and 14 Years.

- One In A Million beats out most UYI songs

- It's pretty incredible for a band to even have their album tracks have streaming numbers of the likes of 5-9 million. In comparison, this rivals the deep tracks on even an album like Back in Black, where songs like Shake a Leg and Let Me Put My Love Into You have similar numbers to tracks like Get In The Ring have.

- With these types of numbers they could literally play any UYI song that isn't a hit basically. They all have huge numbers. Some current bands out there, their biggest hit would be the popularity of something of Get In The Ring. And that's a DEEP cut for GNR.

- I'm really hoping they see the value in Dead Horse, it has 34 million views on Youtube and was actually some kind of single also? Really why do they not play it already? Having Axl come out and play guitar and have Slash solo over it would be a real hot moment in the live show.

this is great stuff....thanks for the work man!!
