Great episode! It’s imo very promising that Slash stated that GN’R will work on a new album during these “off months” without the interviewer asking him about it!

Well, the problem isn't Slash, really.

Slash saying this actually doesn't tell shit.

I would say that Slash confirming that they have a couple of months scheduled for album writing and pre-production is a lot better than them not setting aside time for that.

Setting aside time with the band for album writing surely doesn’t happen without Axl being aware of it and/or against it.

Tried to embed it ...didn't work out unfortunately.

It was really a joint according to the people who were there and apparently Duff looked really surprised.

It was filmed in Vancouver during the 2017 tour by the way.

Ah, Vancouver. Some of the best weed on the planet!! :headbang:

He's been saying the same thing for two years now, Slash is the new Fortus.

But if you still get hopeful, good for you.

I see your point, but he hasn’t mentioned that they’ve actually scheduled it. He has said that they’re looking in to it and that they want to do it etc.

I haven’t heard him talk about a pre-production timeline of sorts more than “after the tour” earlier.

Exactly. I got best up pretty bad here for saying that a couple years back, but it's just plain true.

Slash is just saying the same thing every GNR employee has been saying since 2001. It doesn't mean any more to me that it's coming from him instead of Fortus this time.

It’s does for me because it is Slash saying it and not Fortus

I’m excited - A lot of unanswered questions

Who is gonna be the producer ?

Is Frank gonna be the recording drummer or just a tour drummer ?

Is Fortus a songwriter or a Just a hired gun to Tour ?

Are we getting retreaded Axl songs from Cd or all new ones or both ?

What is Axl gonna write about ?

Is Duff gonna sing on the new Record ?

Will Slash have a instrumental with the Band on the record ?

How Many Songs ? Double Record ?

Epic Long Songs ? How many slammers ? How many ballads ?

Acoustic Songs ?

Gonna be interesting to see what shape the new tunes and the Direction they go with

And By the way As no surprise i hope it will be A Slash Filled Riff master Album - I hope with outro solos on every number

In the words of the King of Rock N Roll “ It’s Now or Never “
