Europe 2020 Tour Announced

At what point will even the casuals get tired of the constant touring? Are we there already? Sure, it would be cool if there was some sort of joint stadium tour with another big band, but GNR wouldn't need that if they would just release new music.

That really depends on where the given casual lives. In the U.S.? Sure, even casuals could be feeling overfed now. But if you’re from the rest of the world, whether EU or Asia, the situation is different. Unless you travel, you saw them once or maybe twice in your country two years ago, and that was it. There’s plenty of "reunion" patience left in these people.

....i  dont think axls high range can last for another 10 to 15 years. If he persists with the high range he will be Jon Bon Jovi territory in 5 years unless he starts to add lower register songs more into the setlist to give his vocal chords a rest.

I mean, Axl already sounds like shit for about 75% of the setlist, so I don't think Jon Bon Jovi territory is all that far away.

It'll be marketed as a new tour- new name, new designs, etc. Probably different stage design and a reordered set list with nothing new (or maybe a new cover or jam). They could do this cycle for the next 10-15 years before Axl decides to retire. Actually, it kinda is what happened from 2009-2014 before the reunion anyways. There will not be any new music from this band.

Nah, with Axl maybe, but Slash and Duff wouldn't like such set-up for long; they're into making (and actually releasing) new music.

Where did she leak a US tour?  Don’t see anything on her instagram

It’s her latest post but she has edited it now. Originally after South America and Europe, she had US stadium tour.

She has now removed that from the post.

So be prepared for an announcement of an another US run after next summer.

So another stadium tour. Ugh. Here's to a hopeful/less 2020 as a GN'R fan. These dates won't make anymore goddamn sense unless they release something. Even a single or two new songs will be enough at this point. Fuck it. Happy new year y'all!

Did she leave in the shamrock?  Never mind.

Which they're doing on their own projects. But for Guns, I agree we with Jamillos we will never get a new album

Dammit.... I'd actually pay for that tour without new music. It'll never happen in a million years though, so I think I'm safe.

I’m with you on this....I’d pay top dollar too

Nevertheless, I still believe their creativity stimuli include their mother band.

Having a think the previous NITL tour dates have either been in the fall or during northern hemisphere summer time. SO i think the US dates will either be summer or the fall.

The last US stadium dates started in April and ran through summer. Then they did arenas in the fall & winter.

I just wanted to point out that a stadium tour is possible in the US in the winter is all :)

I'm sure someone lost their mind about it, so she had to edit it.

Well... At least we know there's a US your coming late next year. Now we just have to sit back and see if anything good happens for fans between now and then.

It would be nice if they paired the US tour announcement with the album.  But I dream......

Does it make sense to do stadiums in the fall? It gets cold in a lot of parts of the US around that time! If the US stadium tour was around July-August tho, then I would understand.

There are a lot of indoor stadiums in the US, plus everything south of Tennessee stays pretty warm all year. There's plenty of indoor stadiums north of that though.

Well, if we're going by what Caram said about GNR needing an album to sell a US tour, then Sue's leaked info is our best indicator yet that this may be in the pipes.

Now we just need her to leak new music. Someone should ask her if she has The General.

I think they want to announce the US stadium tour at the same time they announce a new US stadium tour to promote it. That's probably why they're hush hush on new tour dates.

Edit: haha. I meant announce a new US tour to coincide with a new record dropping.

When did caram say that? Gotta link?

Since he was credited as the main producer on ChiDem, hearing him say that gives me a sliver of hope.

Guessing they'll make a big song and dance about the Miami Superbowl party show and announce the tour there. All new show bla bla. Possibly a new track. Surprised they wouldn't drop it before Xmas with the Euro tour but perhaps wanted the exposure of the pre superbowl stuff and didn't want to put on same time as the very popular Crue tour.  Who'd have thought Crue would ever be more popular 😁

Or maybe some other gimmick like Appetite in full in Miami. Then they'll announce the US tour and any missing bits to the Euro leg like the Scottish gig and maybe a few others.  I'm hoping the all new show happens in Miami, whatever it is.

They can run stadiums August to end of October in US no problems.
