soon Posted March 14, 2020 Share Posted March 14, 2020 Just heard some of the rehearsal. I like the bass intro to Hardschool. All it needs is a melodic descent into the guitar riff. To me thats a big GNR trope - the bass descending into the main groove. Maybe its there an just not audible on what I heard though. The lead guitar part is ... meh... a little more modern rock to my ears. Its certainly not bad. Was awesome to hear! I couldnt tell if I could her Mel doing a call and return with Axl at the end of Think About You, Axl: I think about you! Mel: Only yo-ou!
