Old_school_gnr_fan
What is the logic of posting a clip of a new song being sung at rehearsal, and then NOT performing that song at the show later that day? That, fellow GN'R fans, is the ultimate cocktease.
DTJ80
Was this streamed at all?

One of the videos absolutely sounded like Axl - with a wobbly note for good measure. Another said there was a different intro or something. DurhamGirl
Watched last nights show, Axl's vocals were just amazing all the way through and of course Slash was his normal brilliant self. No new music unfortunately, but Duff sang So Fine. Its all getting better, lots to be positive about.
Walapino
Well yes we are pissed that Hardschool, PTU and Think About You didnt get played BUT I must say the band sounded fantastic, and Axl was way better than the last show in Miami. He was not and will never be 1991 again but he was pretty good through the whole show! I loved So Fine with Duff, and Your Crazy is also a pretty cool addition to the setlist. They finally dropped the f´n covers (wichita, BHS, seeker, etc). Im excited cuz Axl was motivated and sounded as good as possible, I pray they release something new in the coming weeks and when the tour resumes the keep this level of energy and performance!
Popular Post downzy
There could have been a couple reasons why Hard School wasn’t played. First, they might not have been happy with how it sounded. Second, it might have been just a test to see how it played in a stadium setting with plans to tinker later on. It’s one thing to play a new song in rehearsal, it’s another for it to translate it to a live setting that meets standards and expectations. Third, this was a shorter show than most. Perhaps they just didn’t “feel it” with the limited time they were given to perform and instead fell back on tried and trusted songs. There’s a lot of expectations on for new music. Finally, maybe they just enjoyed taking the piss out of everyone who downloaded the leaks 5

Coma16
Life literally got in the way and plans changed. I haven't had a chance to watch any clips yet but it sounds like it was a great show. If Toronto's show doesn't get cancelled, and it is still the NITL setlist, I really hope they play Shadow and Locomotive. Edit, and as someone previously mentioned, hope they tweak Dead Horse so it starts with acoustic guitar intro. StrangerInThisTown
Why did Axl not sing his parts in So Fine? Makes the song a complete throwaway live for me this way, it would be cool to see them duet

TheDemocracyRose
I dont see the big deal about no Hardschool. Its a lot bigger problem that they dont have the song on streaming services...
ryanf23
Just watched So Fine. Super disappointed Axl didn’t even bother to sing. It was Duff only on vocals. Just disappointed...

Oh well - still cool it was played and would rather hear that 99/100 over Seeker etc.

Lies They Tell
Normally I would probably have been disappointed, but I guess I've learned my lesson. I wasn't expecting anything, didn't even watch the streams. Basically I'm so used to no new music that this doesn't really evoke any emotions. allwaystired
Great they nearly played an unreleased song and sounded ok.....but come on folks. I can't think of a single band who would play the (broadly) same set for 5 years. Not one. The bar has become so low now in terms of what we're excited by.
