More just a general rant. Us GNR fans love a good rant! 20 to 30 years ago wearing a band shirt used to mean something. Considering how commercialised band shirts are nowdays not so much. I know we all complain about new music, but the reality is, they won’t be around forever. I skipped on seeing Motley Crue a few times back they toured every year. When they retired I wished I would’ve went to more. Now I’m glad they’re back and will go see them as well as guns, as long as they continue to do it. I’ve never had a bad time seeing either band. Also, anyone think the possible GNR stadium tour could have anything to do with Crue? Kinda an ego thing? Since the Crue is doing it, we can do it again? Maybe that’s a bit of a reach, but who knows? The crue arnt at the level gnr 88 to 93 were and still arnt. Im sure nikki would probably think otherwise.
k12
What is the deal with this non stop touring, not that I am complaining but still, and yes I am less than 3 hours from Wrigley so it is a safe bet I am going to be there

Ah if you're walking around with a Chinese democracy tour tshirt, that means something... nobody is wearing that to get photographed for hip points😄

They will tour until they are tired of each other.....or the money runs out.

They were the first shirts I remember being worn by people who'd never really heard of the band, let alone liked them. I think it happened after they were gone mind, so probably not their fault!

I'd be absolutely shocked if a seemingly random decision has been made to do another stadium run aftter 3 or so runs of not-sold out Arenas. It would seem beyond comprehension and logic. Surely? You was shocked about Stadiums in EU 2020 lols & thats happening
RussTCB
I'm guessing this show will get announced tomorrow. The station probably just jumped the gun on the announcement. I still can't get my head around them doing another US stadium tour without another headliner or an album to support it. 2

And major department stores like Target and Kohl's weren't selling Nirvana and Guns N' Roses t-shirts. Nowadays, you can cop legacy band shirts almost anywhere at the mall or in major department stores. I remember having to go to niche "rock" stores to find posters, shirts, anything. And the pickings were slim back then. You had a couple shirts to choose from per huge rock act. Took me forever in the late '90s to cop an AfD shirt. Yeah man in the late 90’s it was damn near impossible to find GNR shirts. I remember the lady at the local rock shop told me it was because Axl wouldn’t release the rights to them or something. Not sure if that was true, but I always got the same old “sorry no Guns N’ Roses” but we have limp bizcuit and korn” lol.
