You could ask the same question about Eire, Romania, Russia and multiple other European countries who are not included in this ban.

They all should have be included if he wanted to be on the safe side. And what difference does it make, if People, who desperately want to get to the states, just travel from there?

Perhaps Richard's way of saying dont worry the tour will happen or at least the band wont cancel any gigs? So they have their own plane but they couldn't afford something better than computer print on faux leather - no wonder they must keep touring with those ticket prices being just way too low. ;)

In UK the Cobra meeting has now started

They've got to do SOMETHING now. So far they've done nothing- not even sent out a clear message to people about what they should be doing. Sitting ducks waiting for it to take hold like it has in Italy.

Makes me seriously angry how little leadership there is here now- and in a situation like this that requires good advice and managed organization it really highlights just how unfit for office these people are.

Da fuck? They’re still going ahead with the tour, even after Costa Rica, Bogota, and all 3 Lolla dates all get canceled? What the actual fuck?!

If certain countries have not put bans in place, and this band still makes the dollars turning up to play, this tour rolls on.

Total waste of money though whatever they spent on it!

I can't keep up with what's been cancelled and what hasn't....

Canceled: Costa Rica, Columbia, and Lollapalooza Argentina (which means the other two Lolla dates in Brazil and Chile are probably right on the verge of cancelation as well).

Still On (for now): Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, and then after a likely gap of a few weeks, Guatemala and The DR.

Thanks!

Is that all official? Time to knock the tour on the head now I think.

You've got bands like The Who saying "“The fans’ safety is paramount and given the developing coronavirus concerns, the band felt that they had no option but to postpone the shows as a precaution"......and then you've got GNR ploughing on while sending out pictures of their plane, while others cancel their shows around them.

It really is time for GNR to think about what they're actually doing here in terms of fan relations....

Why would they start now?

Fair point!

I suppose it's just highlighting how ludicrous this approach is really - setting off on a tour anyway with dates being cancelled as you travel and everywhere going into lockdown with total disregard for what's going on!

What is this, what does it mean and how does it let us know they are still touring?

the GNAIR paper should be in above post...

GnAir is the name of the band’s tour plane. Richard’s post basically confirms that, as we speak, the band is flying to Mexico to start the tour, despite the virus.
