It is funny as hell seeing the Treasury Secretary in a Twitter feud

Kinda like seeing the manager of one of the world's biggest bands in a reddit feud with fans

Heres you 1:30am update:

Axl is bouncing between #10-7 in the U.S.

Funny enough, AFD is gone from the trends, while Chinese Democracy sits between #22-19

Axls main trend competition is another ancient relic: Survivor

Didnt GNR play during a pandemic?.... mexico if memory serves?.

To be fair it's not clear that Axl was fully aware how bad it was at that point. He knew about it since he joked about his piano having it but he seems to live on another world sometimes (and the parasites that surround him are clueless in general) so we don't know how informed he was.

2020 is far out man, this year couldn't get any weirder

I agree. Axl Rose, good clap back though. A Twitter battle between AxlRose, entertainer and Mnuchin, Sec of Treasury.  This is crazy.

Considering the dust up with manuchin, we can say axl is politically aware of whats going on. Im sure he knows how to use the twitter search function well if he wanted to know the coronavirus situation in mexico. Even if his brazillian lackeys couldnt tell him.

So weird seeing people on the outside discuss CD. Sometimes it can seem like it's something only us forumites know about, since it's hardly ever referenced in pop culture anymore. Makes me realize how weird it's going to be when the album is released and we see mainstream reviewers talking about The General and Soul Monster after we've talked about them for decades in our little corner of the internet.

Considering this and the current album situation, does anyone find Axl almost clairvoyant like?

The literal lyrics to Chinese Democracy are

'Cause it would take a lot more time than you Have got for masturbation, even with your iron fist,
More than you got to rule the nation
When all we've got is precious time
More than you got to fool the nation
But all I've got is precious time“

Either way, you could use Axl’s last tweet against him.

he seems to be very worried about people traveling in a pandemic... that he himself hasn't even cancelled a tour during.

Maybe people think CD will be the new album?.
