RIP.

Bizarre as it be, but just re-read and re-watched the commitments last week. Great director.

Midnight Express is one of those movies that stays with you, very impactful.

Yeah, very true because I'm sure this has happened to many people before and since this movie. I think the actor who played the lead is also dead. Not sure?

Yes, Brad Davis, he died in 1991. I was just reading, he was diagnosed with HIV in 1985 and his wife said he died of an assisted suicide drug overdose.

You know, I never did see that movie and I was glancing through netflix and saw it like 2 days ago thinkin' 'hmmm, should I watch this?' then it was like 'Turkish jail' etc etc and I was like do I wanna watch a Turkey movie right now or some good old fashion American madness?  American madness won and I watched The Blues Brothers...but I shall watch it now.

RIP

Im a Pink Floyd fan. The Wall has continued to evolve into many wonderful things over all these years. And Alan Parker has a hand in all that magic. For which Im very grateful.
