"I woke up one morning and saw a riot on TV and I thought I missed a show!" :rofl-lol:

"If you're bored with a song and its one of your songs, you just play it. It's like having a pair of pants. Those pants meant something to you at one timeyou liked them or whatever-but if you just outgrow them and you're tired of wearing them, it's like they're not you anymore. Some songs I re-write cause the verses aren't me anymore. I could come off stage in tears because I was so moved by the music. I want people to feel that too."

"My music is pure expression and honest emotion and feeling."

"I try to express myself trought my clothes. It`s another form of art. I`m not afraid of what people think about different way i look. I`m gonna do what i want to do."

"We have pieces of everything in our band and we try and find a way to bring it all out rather than limit ourselves into one frame."

"Today I was watching my Decline movies and doing business on the phone while I was building a model, and I was thinking, I'm turning into Slash." :rofl-lol:

"I wan to learn more and start helping people. Freddie Mercury's death is a marker in my life that says there's no turning back, and I'm going to do whatever I can to inform the public about certain things. We can't sit idly and hope someone will change things and hope things will be alright."

"Thanks to the lamess security... i'm going home" rock3

Well this is supposed to be an Axl quote, I'm not sure though, maybe someone can confirm or deny it:

"I discovered that I scream the same way whether I'm about to be devoured by a Great White or if a piece of seaweed touches my foot."

Also on that quote where you said he felt like slash, when he said building a model, does that mean like a model car or something....or am I confused.

At various concerts:

"Bon Jovi can suck my dick!"

"And so, right now, Alternative, all that means to me is someone like Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, who is a F****** junkie with a junkie wife. And if the baby is deformed I think they both aught to go to prison, that's my feeling."

:rofl-lol:

From the Dallas rant....

"And I had to realize no matter what we did tonight and how good or how bad we played, there'll probably be one person in the press here who for some reason 'didn't dig it' and he'll write about something else and he'll write some lies. At the same time, while that won't have a whole lot of effect on Dallas and it shouldn't fuck with me, it fucks with the entire fucking thing called rock n' roll in general. Because who are the main people that watch these news things and read this shit: they're all in their 40's to 50's sitting there eating their fucking bran flakes and drinking their coffee. I ain't knocking getting old, we all get fucking old. It's a fact of life: unless you fucking die before you get there, you're gonna get old. But just 'cause you get old, doesn't mean you have to deny young people their humanity."

"I thought that's what America was supposed to be about: standing up for yourself and standing up for each other. I thought that's what the fuck America was supposed to be about. I'm sorry, I guess I learned the wrong lesson. I guess I learned that: I should kiss ass. I should exactly what I'm told to do by somebody who doesn't know shit. And I should write kiss ass wimpy puss songs so we can be successful and everybody will like it and its safe. You know, they helped kill Jim Morrison with a lot less pressure."

"I'd just like to say that I have a personal disgust for small dogs, like poodles. I have some serious physical problems with them. Everything about them means I must kill them. I must."

"I know a girl named Michelle and she became a really good friend of the bands' and I was going out with her for a while, It's a true story. Slash and some other members of the band said that's kinda too heavy to say about poor sweet Michelle; she'll freak out. I'd written this nice sweet song about her and then I looked at it and thought that really doesn't touch any basis of reality' so I put down an honest thing. It describes her life. This girl leads such a crazy life with doing drugs, or whatever she's doing at the time, you don't know if she's gonna be there tomorrow. I showed her the lyrics after about three weeks of debating and she was so happy that someone didn't just paint a pretty picture. She loves it."

"Psychologically, you could consider this a reunion tour because I've managed to find enough pieces of my mind in order to be with you here tonight."

"We want to dedicate this song to the people that try to hold you back, the people that tell you how to live, people that tell you how to dress, people that tell you how to talk, people that tell you what you can say and what you can't say (*cough* can't post leaked song lyrics *cough*). I personally don't need that. Those are the kind of people that have been getting me down. They make me feel like somebody, somebody out there, is out ta get me."

During the band introduction when someone yelled “Slash”:

“Oh now that’s not very nice…you should go home then. You could watch your video tapes and listen to some old DVDs or CDs of the band. Would that be fun now? If it’s not fun to you, then shut the fuck up, because you will be thoroughly escorted out of the building. You wouldn’t want all these nice people here to turn around and beat the shit out of you now would you?”

“There's things like vibrational medicine, oxygen-ozone therapy, there's homeopathic medicines, there are Chinese medicines and different forms of vitamins. The government is denying the public this information. That's because the government, the FDA and the pharmaceutical companies are making billions of dollars off of people dying. The FDA invests money in companies they've supposed to be regulating - that makes no sense. Over the last 50 years there have been different cures for different illnesses that have been kept from us.”

“Our government talks about freedom and liberty while they exercise and maintain and enforce and strive for and fight for all the control they can have over the people. Since day one we've been taught to support our own oppression, and I think it's time for things to change.”

“With the help of regression therapy I uncovered that my real dad, not my stepdad, sexually abused me. The most powerful anger was this two-year-old child's anger because it was hurt. Nothing could really scare me, because I'd already seen hell. I'd been killed at two and lived through it, and I was miserable because I'd lived through it. I was miserable for 28 years. My stepdad came into my life when I was three or four, and I didn't even know my real father existed until I was 17. I was separated from myself at an early age, and my stepfather made sure I never put myself back together, with his confusing mixed messages of love and brutality. He'd love me one minute, then beat me the next. I've had to learn how to shed both of these men's personalities.” Related - Question: Do you believe in past lives? Beta: Yes, I do and Axl believes in them also.

“Well, a lot of people have used the work "hooray for tolerance!," and they're not getting told they're homophobic. But, homophobia? O.K. I'll repeat myself - this is something that I just said in Rolling Stone. I don't know, maybe I have a problem with homophobia. Maybe I was two years old and got fucked in the ass by my dad and it's caused a problem ever since, but other than that, I don't know if I have any homophobia. How was that?”

“My earliest conscious memory was of a feeling that I'd been here before and that I had a toy gun in my hand. I knew it was a toy gun, and I didn't know how I knew. That was my first memory. But I've done regression therapy all the way back, just about to the point of conception. I kind of know what was going on then.”

“I dreamt I was a horse. You ever see those movies of wild mustangs running and how heavy that looks? I dreamt about that. I dreamt I was caught and then put in the movies. And in some really stupid movies. And it was totally against my will, and I could not handle it, and I freaked. I didn't understand the dream. Back then, I was like "I was a horse, they tried to put me in the movies!" You know, all I could think of at the time was Mr. Ed or Francis. But I always remembered that dream, and now I understand it real well.”
